Ultra PRO Model Car Display, 1:24, Black

I was looking for cases to put my numerous autographed 1:24 scale Nascar diecast cars in, but was also on a budget. These cases were just what I was looking for! They protect the cars and keeps the dust off of them, which eliminates the need for constant dusting and running the risk of messing up the autographs. The cases are stackable, and the slanted base gives the car a nice presentation. I saw many reviews about the cases arriving cracked, and I will say that I cannot disagree with them, as a couple of mine (two cases out of 10 total) arrived with a small crack on the cover, but they were near the base and I simply made sure to put the cracked part of the cover to the back so they are not visible. While I do plan on eventually upgrading the cases to ones with wooden bases so as to make my collection "more classy," I will say that these cases will work just fine in the meantime. My only gripe with them is that while they do have two pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the case, they do not line up with the screw holes on the Lionel Diecasts. The holes on the bottom on the case are in a line, whereas the holes on the bottom of the Lionel Diecast cars are offset from one another. This is only a minor drawback in my opinion, as I'm not constantly moving my collection around, and even if I do, the cars don't have much room inside the case to move anyway. Overall, I'm happy with these cases! If you are on a budget and looking for a case to protect your diecast collection and to keep them dust-free, then these cases are just what you are looking for! (For the record, this is an unsolicited, unbiased review. I purchased these cases out of my own pocket.)

I read that some folks had issues with the case arriving damaged. That is likely due to the way it's packaged and it's construction. There wasn't much protection. However, mine arrived unharmed.The construction of the case seems pretty flimsy which is part of why it might have a risk of cracking but if packaged better, that shouldn't be an issue.I purchased one for a 1:24 Nascar diecast and it looks great. Take your time opening it by pushing in the tabs, otherwise that is probably another way to crack the case.Overall I'm happy enough with the case. I might buy again in the future if I can't find the other types of cases I like better. Hobby Lobby sells display cases as well for anywhere from 9.99-14.99 depending on the size. And they often have sales. The other day I got a 1:18 case for 8.99 because of a sale. Those cases stack and are nicer in my opinion. But if you can't find those, these should do just fine. I would simply recommend careful handling to the buyer and better packaging to the seller.The first image is the product on Amazon. The second image is the stackable Hobby Lobby cases.

Gift for the Hubs' new toy. He liked the lite slant to the base, it gives the car a cool edge. Assembly was simple, construction is sound, and perfect size for the model. Showed our son and had to order a second for his car. This will be our go to display case for the Formula One cars.

I'm totally pleased with the display case; shows model cars in an extremely good light. I would give this five stars except there's a bit of work to get them ready. It appears that during storage/shipping the plastic wrap they come in "ghost" itself onto the clear plastic display which requires cleaning. Windex didn't work so I've been using paint thinner and it works but is a little time consuming. I've purchased 12 of these for my best models and gifts. One additional note. I've used gorilla double-sided tape on the model wheels to ensure the models are stuck on bottom of case and don't move around when moving the entire display.

the top acrylic piece clips into the base plate which is nice there are holes in the bottom of the base so u can secure the car down

I bought it for something that isn't a diecast car and I did not realize that the bottom part was angled. That isn't exactly what I was looking for but it will suit the purpose for which I bought it and I'm not going to return it by any means because I have it here and it'll work. It seems to be fairly well made so I like it I'm not overjoyed with it but for the price I don't think you can go wrong. Like I said I bought it for something other than a diecast car because it will fit inside.

Arrive broken but other than that was perfect for model cara 1:14 scale and was easy to use protects from dust is made of plastic so for the price not bad

Plastic is thin, mine came with a small crack in the back but the product’s design allows you to display your car in the most advantageous way. Very nice
