Nice tool for beginners.
This is a nice tool. Easy to use. I've never made my own cat 5 cables. This tool worked like a charm. Read instructions and watch a couple of videos and then I was making my own cables. Tester works great as well. Makes a nice cimp and connectors hold well.

Super easy and it just works
Mine did not ship with instructions or warranty but the videos were good enough. Last time I crimped RJ45 was ten years ago and it was a dark art. In other words I’m anything but an expert. But this thing is so easy to use that it’s disgusting. Five minutes and I was up and running. It works perfectly the first time.

Works Great (Needs a bag/case)
Very happy with the purchase overall. Years ago I bought a kit from Amazon for Cat5e to wire up my house and was very disappointed as I only had 1 of 10 successful wires made. After looking at MANY different reviews for diff. brands I got this one.EVERYTHING Great so far, about 99% success rate on wiring Cat6.ONLY complaint:No storage case or bag, Just using the shipping box it came in :(

Works great and predictably.
I don’t always have the best of luck in installing cables like this but with a help of YouTube demonstrations and this tool I was able to successfully run an ethernet line to my attached garage. This tool made it very simple and predictable and successful.

Look no further!
I was in the market for some networking tools when I came across the Klein crimpers (Klein Tools VDV226 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076MGPQZQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_p3v5EbX7KTNCR), which are very similar. I was very interested in the Klein crimpers due to their ability to do both RJ11 and RJ45 terminals as well as having a handy guide for UTP wire order printed on the body; but I was never able to purchase them due to review after review saying that they did not cut the wires on pins 1 and 8 for RJ45. After some more searching I came across these PETECHTOOL crimpers and I was sold.Initially, having never used pass through terminals before, I thought people were just being petty about the Klein Crimpers not cutting the wires on pins 1 and 8; but after using these PETECHTOOL crimpers I can tell you their complaints are valid. The wires HAVE to be cut flush to the end of the terminal or the connection will fail due to a poor fit. Diagonal cutters or even flush cutters won’t be able to achieve this, you’d have to use an exacto blade and risk cutting yourself to get the cut you need if the crimpers don’t cut the wire just right. The PETECHTOOL, while not having RJ11 option or the wire guide, did not have any negative reviews that would make me not want them, and they were less expensive than the Klein’s! I don’t see myself needing to do telephone cables in the near future, and the only thing I’d have needed the guide for was if I was making crossover cable so I got the PETECHTOOL and it is worth every penny. It cuts and crimps the terminals perfectly every time, and it comes with a punch down tool to boot! The only thing I’d say to be carful for is to not squeeze too tightly when stripping the outer insulation or you’ll cut the twisted pairs, but as long as you remember that while scoring the insulation you’ll be good to go!Why are you still reading this? Buy these bad boys NOW! You won’t be disappointed.
