Great Ice Machine!
I've only had this for a couple weeks, and so far nothing negative. This machine rocks as follows:-Love the stainless steel, sleek design. Matches everything in my kitchen. Machine is taller than I realized, so be sure you've factored in spacing required for going under cabinets in kitchen, or put in open space with nothing above it. Mine fits comfortably under a cabinet.-Performs as expected. Inside stays clean. We use purified water only for ice cubes, which reduces and even eliminates staining. No smell inside or out.-Super easy to start and stop. You're only going to be using the start and select buttons. That's it. Easy to clean and wipe down. Water resistant.-Not super loud. Pretty minimal IMO.-Creates ice pretty quick but allow it to go through several cycles of you want more ice.-To prevent ice from melting once dispensed in basket, I scoop it out immediately and put it in a Ziploc freezer bag. Each time ice is dispensed I do it again. Pull the bag out of the freezer and repeat process...scoop ice in, seal and put back in freezer. This way we have a whole gallon size bag full of ice in the freezer ready to be used that same day or next day. This does mean you'd have to be on standby, but I love doing it this way. Ice generally doesn't freeze together either making it difficult to break apart once in freezer. When I put the full bag of ice in my freezer, I lay it flat so there's no ice clumps. Easy peasy. The only negative thing IMO is that this product doesn't come with a magnetic strip or fixture of some kind to be able to keep the white scoop stored on the side when not in use. Not a deal breaker, though...my husband and I plan on investing in one just to keep the scooper off the counter. I usually sit it on top of the machine where the window is. Still a 5 star product.

So far so good!
We bought this ice maker for our RV because we have very little space, a tiny freezer but use a lot of ice. We were buying bags of ice each week and started reading reviews on ice makers instead. We've been using this one for about 3 days now and so far we are very happy with it. It set up in minutes. We ran water through it as instructed first on the cleaning cycle, filled it with filtered water, chose large cubes and within minutes we had ice. The ice is clean, odor and taste free and frozen solid. It's relatively quiet which is important in our small space. As long as it holds up overtime we'll continue to be happy. It's small and compact and looks neat on the counter. It feels solid and sturdy. **UPDATE!** It's been almost a year now and the ice maker is still going strong! Zero problems. It pretty much runs all day and we turn it off at night or when we go away. I just keep it clean and it's doing fine.

Great ice maker
When my husband and I bought our house years ago, it came with a fridge and an extremely noisy ice maker. We got sick of our narrow refrigerator doors and recently bought a new Frigidaire fridge with full wide length fridge/freezer doors and no ice maker. We love this ice machine—it does exactly what it promises by producing ice quickly. It’s quieter than our previous fridge ice maker and we love that you can get ice in two sizes of cubes.Appliance stores have convinced people to buy fridges with ice makers built in but they take away a good chunk of space for your food. The Iceman is a great alternative—you save $200 on the appliance and even buying this you still come out ahead financially. It looks high quality on the countertop too.

Nice nugget ice machine
We really like this for nugget ice and volume produced. We like this connected to the supply line which helps ensure we have continuous supply of nugget ice.We had hoped it could be in-counter installation with pull out sliding shelf at our new home, but it generates a LOT of heat and causes ice to melt as soon as it is made. It truly MUST be countertop or a fully open space (not just the recommended 6” clearance on all sides).Additionally, when it thinks it needs cleaning (even it you are doing the weekly clean cycle), it is extremely noisy with an awful sound. And that usually happens in middle of night which wakes you up. It’s bad!!!Overall happy but would be better with refrigerated ice bin to help reduce ice melting when inside house temps are warm or when you don’t have adequate clearance to address the heat the unit generates.
