Nigrin 74071 Exhaust Bandage 100 cm, asbestos-free

I used this to patch a LARGE hole. because of the size of the hole I had to deviate from the instructions and used a blowtorch for the initial cure because using the engine was causing the repair to blow out. In the end though I achieved a solid repair.One word of warning though, the instructions are in German.

Really good, I never knew I could read German. Any way, one major draw back for using it on a tricky part is when you run the engine the patch gets blown off so you need a heat gun to seal it first. only then can you run the engine for 15 minutes to set the putty. If you dont have a heat gun a strong hairdryer may work. It fixed the hole fine so far, but I dont kniw how long it will last.

Ho seguito alla lettera le istruzioni che ho dovuto tradurre (e che riporto sotto) e tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione!L'unica raccomandazione è di dare 2 giri di tessuto intorno alla lesione, perchè accendendo il motore c'è il rischio che si gonfi la parte di pasta appunto sopra la lesione/rottura. All'accensione del motore c'era ancora qualche perdita di gas di scarico e ci ho quindi riportato a mano un'altro po' di pasta.ISTRUZIONI E CARATTERISTICHE:Resistente al calore fino a 500 ° CRipara fessure e fori nel sistema di scarico in modo rapido e permanente:chiude le aree danneggiate a tenuta di gasè stabile al calore e privo di amiantoNigrin fasciatura di scarico è un set di bendaggio speciale e colla resistente al calore per la riparazione rapida e permanente di crepe e buchi nel sistema di scarico, in particolare per uso sul silenziatore, collettore e tutti i tubi di scarico. È facile da lavorare ed esente da amianto e permette una sigillatura semplice e a tenuta di gas della zona danneggiata.Applicazione:Aprire la lattina prima dell'uso.Pulire accuratamente l'area di riparazione con una spazzola d'acciaio.Applicare pasta di riparazione nell'area danneggiata.Avvolgere l'area danneggiata con la benda speciale.Applicare la pasta di riparazione anche sopra la benda.Per asciugare, far funzionare il motore per 15 minuti in modo che lo scarico si riscaldi per far indurire la pasta.Dopo 12 ore la zona di riparazione è polimerizzata, e lo scarico pronto per l'uso.Nota: utilizzare il veicolo solo dopo la polimerizzazione

E' impossibile sbagliare. Ripara e ricostruisce perfettamente la tua marmitta, e non e' necessario essere un esperto.
