What pps adapter do I need? I'm using the spectrum pps system.

For Spectrum systems / A610 spray gun, the correct adapter is Spectrum 57505

Can I use this LPLV spray gun with a 6 gal Pancake compressor with a rating of 3.5 cfm at 40 psi?

You’re on the edge limits of the gun. The lower range of the gun is 3cfm I believe. Working psi should be about 30 which just means the 40psi compressor will be running allot. But I’ve heard of people doing it though not professionally.

anyone used to paint a car ? what size compressor handled it ok ?

I only used it to paint motorcycle tins and I used a small pancake compressor

Some spray gun manufacturers say not to use latex in their gun. They didn’t say why, maybe viscosity. Has anyone sprayed latex with this gun?

I wouldn't try to spray latex. You might water it down enough to go through the gun but a gun for latex would be much better.
