This works! Added the seal to a drafty window. Having installed the seal found the window needed a bead of silcon around the edge also. But now have a toasty room. Would recommend, easy to install and just works. Hopefully the adhesive will hold up, the design means it's trapped between the frame and seal, so should be ok for this winter (fingers cross). Will be interesting to see if it holds up once the window is open and closed over the summer.

This tape works well at cutting out drafts. I have used it to seal gaps on our internal garage door and it's remained in place for over 3 years now. It hasn't worked as well on a window, as it peeled off over time and has required renewing, but overall I'm quite happy with the results.

Easy to apply and easy to be corected - the glue holds even if you need to remove it in order to re-allign.

Ich habe diese Gummidichtung für meine Haustür gekauft, da es sich um eine sehr alte Tür handelt, die über die Jahrzehnte etwas verzogen war. Das hat so ein Fachwerkhaus aber nun mal an sich. Damit im Winter die Kälte nicht einfach durch die Ritzen ziehen kann und die Heizkosten ins Unermessliche steigen, habe ich mich für genau diese Gummidichtung entschieden, weil sie sehr flexibel ist. Sie ist breit an den Stellen, an denen es benötigt wird und wird an den Stellen leicht zusammengedrückt, wo es enger wird. Somit konnte ich schon mal den Großteil der Spalten und Ritzen schließen. Für die weiteren Spalten ist diese Gummidichtung zu groß, Das Produkt kann aber nichts dafür, dass meine Tür ein wenig wie ein Kunstwerk von Dali aussieht. :-) Es hat mir jedenfalls sehr dabei geholfen, meine Heizkosten zu senken. Der Preis ist zwar sehr hoch, wie ich persönlich finde, aber dafür bekommt man auch sehr gute Qualität. Die Gummidichtung lässt sich sehr gut verarbeiten. Man kann sie gut schneiden und auf die benötigte Länge bringen. Sie hält durch die Klebefläche sehr gut. Ich kann hier nur sagen: Klare Kaufempfehlung!
