Well okay I bought this universal remote from Hisense for my Hisense TV which my Hisense TV is a older model it's not a smart TV one of my first HD TVs I got back in 2012 and it's been working great ever since these are some Workhorse TVs I call them but the remote control has had its day because it's the original remote control that came with it power button stopped working and it was hard to change the channels so the next best thing to do is to find something to take its place and Amazon has something that look promising a universal remote from Hisense that works on all the TVs okay what I got to lose I'm going to go ahead and get it this remote works great it controls what I need for it to control with the older TV not only that I can also use it on the smart TV I have a Roku TV 55 inch Hisense TV and it said that this remote control works on all the Hisense so I will use it for both when I need to but I only need it for the older model one it comes in a tool pack that's the one I bought so just in case one breaks down which I hope it doesn't I can always go to the other one that I have so far it works great on both TVs I have tried it I got a bang for my buck about $12 and something so I'm not sad at all or disappointed so this would do me fine but when it comes down to the TVs this is my brand I love these TVs they last a long time they look good and I haven't went wrong since I bought my first one so that's what keeps me coming back far as the remote control goes it lasted a long time but it finally went out had to get something different or something better they had what I was looking for not only that don't best thing about this remote you don't have to put in no code to get it to work it works fine so if you have a license TV or like that I recommend this product give it a try test it for yourself I guarantee you will be happy with it some things might not work it depends what type of model TV you have but a lot of things will work this is a replacement remote control it's not the original one that came with it you would have to order the original one that came with it to get everything to work properly the way you want it but far as getting channels and volumes turned up or down and changing inputs to watch different things you can't go wrong so give it a try you may like it just as much as I like it oh and one other thing my first TV is a 42-in TV regular television not smart TV so this remote works great on non-smart TVs by Hisense so give it a try if you got old TV do you like to get back started and you needed a remote this will work fine have fun enjoy

These remotes are spot-on replacements for my TV’s original clicker. The range is solid, the buttons feel just like the OEM version, and best of all—it just works, right out of the box. No setup, no fuss, no deciphering tiny instruction manuals written in five languages. Now, onto the real test: surviving in a house with three dogs. One of them is a puppy with a PhD in chewing, and for some reason, TV remotes are her delicacy of choice. These remotes are not only functional, they’re affordable enough that I don’t break into a cold sweat when one ends up in the jaws of doom. In fact, they cost less than the $18 "designer" dog bones I keep buying. (Yes, my dogs have expensive taste. No, I don’t know why.) That said, the dogs have successfully trained me to keep the remotes out of reach. It’s their world—I just change the channels in it. Although, I should admit that the first broken remote failed because cheap batteries leaked battery acid and the remote would never work right again... so even if you do not have dogs, these are still great replacements to keep around just in case.

I bought this to replace the original remote control that came with our Hisense Roku TV. At first, the result of my Amazon search showed a control identical in appearance to the Roku control that came with the TV which had become challenging to use because the buttons were not as responsive as they had been. When I refined the selection for Hisense, the result was a more generic universal remote. I did not notice that before ordering and was a bit surprised when the two controls were delivered. When programmed for the Hisense TV, they work for most functions and the TV responds to selections with little effort on the user’s part. A couple of exceptions I have found are that the channel up and down feature doesn’t work in YouTubeTV app and key to go straight to YouTube doesn’t seem to work. However, the control was inexpensive and makes using the TV easier than the old control, so I am more pleased than not.

As soon as I put the batteries in it and pointed it to the TV it worked perfectly. I would recommend it to anybody with the same TV system.

Perfect replacement remote for my TLC TV. Looks and works like the original.

Works great on my new Vizio Sound Bar, use it to turn on and off as well as control the volume as the app is not always the most efficient.

Don't buy this product, it's totally useless. Voise assistance not working and it's difficult to pairing with TV. Quality is not good. in remote cover only it's mentioned MRP-399 but in amazon they are selling this for 799.
