Q: various reviews claim this is not real silk, how can customers be sure it's 100% real silk? is there any certification or a test that can be done?

You can’t … unless you’re a silk expert or want to send it to a lab I had this before I returned it and it didn’t feel like real silk at all

Q: Does it keep your eye closed. I have Bell’s palsy and need one that will keep eye closed.

I cannot be 100% sure but like 99% sure that there is NO metal in this mask.
