Question 1

Please ask the manufacturer to go back to screw-on lids. My cats will knock these flip-lids off the table so they break open. Anyone else see this?

The screw on lids are better then the flip top lids. I believe the treats are fresher with the screw on lids.  I also would like manufacturers to go back to the screw on lids. Okay

First ingredient: chicken by-product?  Suppose to be bad for pets?

I've been giving Temptations treats to my cats for years, no more than 3 or 4 (each) at a time, once or twice a day. My senior kitties (who were litter-mates) lived to the ripe old age of 17 and 18. My three current kitties have been getting these treats daily for three years now and have no health problems. My vet said to not overdo dry treats, especially if they don't get wet food, make sure they drink enough water to stay hydrated. I give my cats wet and dry food so it's not an issue for them. The treats might help with their teeth too as the vet always said my senior kitties had no tarter build up on their teeth and my current kitties don't have tarter build up either.As for the healthiness of a treat with 'chicken by-product' as a main ingredient, this link should answer your question, I'm not affiliated with Whiskas, the website I linked or the vet. I'm just a pet owner who wants to keep my babies healthy and happy. Some people might shudder at the thought of feeding their pets chicken organs, intestines or feet but hey, we all eat sausage and the casing is usually cow or pig intestine, and a lot of people eat organ meat (haggis, hotdogs, etc.), or eat chicken feet as a delicacy. Amazon has taken a big hit on this product.  I don't understand the complaints.  Are you getting 4 packs for less than $6.00, or what?

I paid $5.98, less $1 because of a coupon offer, for this four-pack product.  I don't know why or how, but some Amazon Marketplace vendors seem to be selling the same product for over $15, antagonizing customers who expect a larger quantity for the larger price.  Don't pay more than $6 for the four-pack!

Just What is in them? to control Hair Balls ?

Note:  The ingredients have changed, and so have the treats.  They no longer have petrolatum in them, and the ingredients are the same as in all other treats of this brand.  They likely no longer do anything for hair balls.
