So many questions….
Usually not keen on secret society books but thought I’d give this one a go and was pleasantly surprised, This book sets us up for an exciting second book which I definitely want to read. There’s a lot of questions I need answers too.Ariah out FMC is an innocent walking into a den of wolves, although she’s a badass she has no clue about the town and it’s twisted dynamics. It’s unclear yet why she’s ended up there and why she’s so important. Pleased that she has the support of at least two of the guys.love a good bully romance and this book certainly delivers with an exciting plot, would definitely recommend.

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged.

thrilling story
This series is another one of those that’s sat on my TBR for what seems like forever and now I don’t know why I’ve left it so long. I was gripped from the start; the mystery of the elites, the fiery Ariah, the angst and heat with the guys and that cliffhanger…. I am definitely heading straight on to book two.

I honestly wish I had waited for the next book to be released before reading twisted selection, however, I can't bring myself to regret that decision too much.I absolutely loved this book.It had me nervous and excited and now I will be eagerly awaiting the notification of the next release.Loved the whole storyline, the twists and turns and the relationships between each of the characters so far.I can't wait to see what happens next!

ooo, it’s good!
It is a really good book and it’s definitely had me interested and eager to keep reading. 4 stars because it is dark, gruesome dark to the the point I’ve skipped some lines because I don’t need that much detail into people meeting their end.

Must listen if you like secret society dark romance
*Audiobook Review*I read this on release and as one of my favourite secret society dark romances I couldn't wait to listen to the audio version. I was completely engaged from the start and was sucked straight back into Edgewood with all its twists and turns. I liked Ariah as she just gets up and gets on with it. She's not a Mary Sue and has her flaws but I loved how she stepped up for her siblings when it counted; I loved their family dynamic.Bridget Bordeaux is a great Ariah but it's her Samantha that I really loved. It's just perfect; Bordeaux totally nails that whiny voice the other characters mention and I could totally visualise all the foot stomping that would have gone along with it! Jake Bordeaux has a lot to play with the various Elites and I liked his take on the characters. Wyatt definitely felt a bit more menacing and he really leaned into Wes "charming" personality; I'd forgotten how awful he was in this. It's made me want to go and re-read the rest of the series as that cliffhanger is still pretty epic!

Not sure about this one 2.5*
It's one of those weird ones where 17 year olds are running around like grown ups..This is a direct quote "With my protective gloves on, I set up the ophthalmic speculum, forcing his eyelids to stay open, allowing me to position two dropper valves over each of his crystal blue eyes."I read a lot of dark stories and even grown men wouldn't use that kind of language. I think the age range is inappropriate for the story. Is there some video game that came up with "How to be a serial killer" ???In saying all that, I do actually want to know what happens to Riri (heroine). So I will keep telling myself they are at the very least college level. Boredom at its finest I suppose...
