Keeping Tummy Time Interesting
The Tumzee is a nice, durable product to prop babies up during tummy time. It allows them to be slightly off the ground, letting them see more toys and freeing up their hands to reach for them. Tummy time is so important, so it is nice to have a product that keeps it interesting. I also like that it has a safety belt on it. The only very minor downside I've found so far, is that the material is staticy and having a dog, I need to keep wiping dog hair off the side.

Really great for tummy time!
I love that it's meant to help support your little one during tummy time, isn't that brilliant?? Now my baby can see more from a higher distance therefore she is able to play more and she seems more content. I love that Its helpin her develop neck, back and arm muscles! And the fact that it's being recommended by doctors and therapists, that's what clinched it for me. I'm so happy I bought this for my little one!

Less stress tummy time play.
I feel like there's baby products for everything now. This one is to help make tummy time easier. It essentially gives them their tummy time while holding them up higher off the floor so they can see what's going on around them better rather than just a face plant in the floor. My little guy is 3 1/2 months and does pretty good in it for a few minutes if there are toys in front of him or a sibling entertaining him. I'm hope he'll grow out of just wanting to be held all the time soon so he'll enjoy tummy time even better. My only concern is they're losing the ability to learn how to roll over and how to army crawl so make sure that time still gets fit in.

Not comfortable at all
Hard plastic not really made for babies in my opinion. The cushion you have to order by itself and. It flimsy

Not for younger babies
This would be great for older babies but not for younger babies starting tummy time. The babies cannot rest their heads down to take a break and if they do, their heads will be dangling. Probably better for 6 months and up... probably but maybe not. My son was 2 months old when I tried it.

Not good therapy
So I bought this for our son that was born 3mo premature I thought this would help with his therapy while still in the NICU but the therapist said it is too containing and he would NOT be able to move right in it especially how it is designed at the leg area.

A must have for low tone, torticollis, plagiocephaly or special need babies!
I’m a Registered Nurse and work with a variety of low tone/developmently delayed babies. I have tried so many adaptive contractions and pillows over the past 6 months. (I even tried making my own.) Nothing I tried offered the ease, functionality or support that the Tumeez does! The Boppy Pillow, (while it was the fastest/easiest of everything I tried), it doesn’t offer the height, firmness or structure of the Tumeez. The Tumeez instantly became priceless after just one use! Generally, many adaptive/ special needs equipment are INSANELY overpriced. Insurance sometimes covers a percentage, but when the prices are inflated to hundreds of dollars, this community tends to go without. My only regret is that I didn’t find this so much sooner!!!! This equipment is a MUST HAVE for babies with low tone, torticollis, plagiocephally, etc. It not only helps with the building of core and upper body/neck strength and movement…what it does for cognitive growth is unmatched! It allows for baby to accomplish tasks they physically couldn’t or had extreme difficulty performing, due to physical limitations, easily. Opportunities to develop hand eye coordination (while playing with toys) AND providing a sense of accomplishment/ gratification because they can now perform a task is PRICELESS!! (Additionally, this thing is a must have for any babies that get scheduled nebulizer treatments! Getting them off their backs/heads and onto their tummies for their treatments is two birds with one stone!)

I wish I would have gotten it sooner...
My 5 month old baby boy has always hated tummy time. It was quite a sad sight. As soon as I would place him on his belly, he would attempt to raise his head and then quickly let out wail of defeat and just lie on the floor like a beached dolphin. When he finally started to roll around a little and lift his head up, things improved slightly. Now, with the Tumzee, he is much happier. Since he is higher off the ground he is able to make better eye contact with me and can actively play with toys. I only wish that I had gotten this as soon as he had head/neck control as I feel that it would have saved us many tears.
