I bought this watch as a temporary until my Citizen watch has its broken crystal replaced (my fault). I thought that the name was odd, then chuckled to see that they actually used it on the watch. Obviously no one in marketing thought this an issue. Smael? Why not something to reinforce the watch positively? Yes, it is cheaply made but it is functional. I had to laugh that it’s waterproof as long as you don’t push any buttons. At least the backlight works effectively. I have a much higher priced Casio and the backlit function, if you can call it that, is totally useless at night. It doesn’t illuminate what is supposed to be its function, to be able to read the time! Looking for a decent looking cheapy that you won’t mind trashing? This is a great choice. Just don’t push those buttons near water.
