Very good book but based on remedies and not symptoms!
A very nice well written book about some homeopathic remedies. However, you need to know what you are looking for. It’s not based on the symptom but on the actual remedies.

Getting back into homeopathy
I bought this book because I wanted to get back into homeopathy, I used to take the remedies during my exams but then for some reason I stopped. I have multiple chronic illnesses and I wanted to research and top up my knowledge to see if the remedies could help some of my symptoms. I am unable to take normal medications and there is nothing wrong with trying different methods. I chose this book as I am a fan of neals yard products and I am not disappointed with this book. The books content is very easy to understand and I like the fact that at the back of the book there is a list of ailments and what remedies suit each ailment. This book is good for beginners, for people like me who want to refresh their memory and anyone who wants to know what homeopathy is.

Hard to understand what is good, what is bad. Maybe for the expert?
I found this really hard to understand sadly :( it looks informative but isn't for a newbie in my opinion. I have quite a few books on this subject and felt it was complicated and awkward.

Very good quick guide
This book is excellent when you need a remedy fast but don't have the time to get out a repertory and materia medica. It starts with an introduction to the theory and history of homoeopathy followed by a guide to 62 remedies in very clear and easy to understand prose. The last part consists of an alphabetical list of the most common ailments and which medicines to choose. There are also photographs throughout, making this a pleasant book to browse.I would recommend this to beginners and for travelling as it is so easy to use, even someone who had never read about the topic before could just pick it up, look up their problem and pick a remedy without having to do a lot of cross referencing. There wouldn't be enough detail in this if you were studying the topic as a student or working as a practitioner but for a quick reference I've found this to be invaluable. The easiest to use layman's guide I've seen so far.
