Great Dashcam
This is 3rd dashcam system i have purchased from Thinkware. All have worked flawlessly, i did use the hardwire kit on all 3 vehicles. I also opted for the larger capacity memory card. Video image quality is top notch. Front & rear cameras are not bulky nor obstructive. Great view day and night. Connectivity was simple and easy, BUT latest app update has some glitches with Iphone16Pro, the new app requires cellular data for the app to be disabled in order to play back videos, otherwise you will jist get a black screen on phone playback. Overall a great camera.

Great working camera
Great working camera. So easy to install any videos to you phone or tablet. It does stop recording if you are previewing videos or watching live on another device. I also found out it records voice inside, you hear everything once you download and watch, it also smooths out the video when you download it. Overall a very nice front and rear camera for when one of you speeders hit me I’ll be able to prove it was not my fault.

Great cam with a few quirks
Having a dash cam in your vehicle is essential to me for any car going forward. I saw this one and thought I might as well try it out. One little quirk out of the box was there was no plastic pry tools included to help you hide the cables for the device. Seems a bit odd they couldn't at least include a small one to help you get around the plastic/rubber in your car. I luckily had an extra from a prior camera, so was ok. Install was actually painless. I decided to purchase the ODB 2 power connector with the camera to make powering it easier for when the vehicle is off and it records parking. It made it so much simpler than trying to hardwire the thing and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make wiring easier for parking mode recordings. So far it has been great. It has a little voice that tells me when it launches itself into regular recording vs parking. It tells me how many parking events occurred so that if I need to I can connect to the cam and pull those. While it doesn't include a screen to view the footage, it makes it quite easy to remove the included MicroSD card OR use the phone app. I noticed a few reviews complain about connecting via wifi...I have not ran into this issue but can offer some advice: Make sure your phone isn't trying to connect to another wifi at the time (like wireless carplay/android auto) AND make sure to give your camera ample time to turn on the wifi (it will tell you when to connect). Just an FYI for those wondering: The camera only takes up to 128GB MicroSD cards from what I understand. It does come included with a 32GB MicroSD card, which for me works fine. When it reaches capacity it just starts overwriting old footage. The other odd quirk I had with the camera was this: While sitting in traffic for a couple minutes, the camera did switch to parking mode for some odd reason for me...I guess it detected it wasn't moving and thought maybe it was being parked. Found it quite odd. After a few seconds of moving though it went back to regular recording. A little worrisome, but have only had it happen once so far. Overall, rated it 4/5 stars because of the quirks. It isn't perfect, but does seem better than cheaper cameras for sure. Definitely still recommend for anyone looking for a decently priced camera.

Great dash cam
Fairly intuitive to operate. I replaced it with a bigger storage SD card. Clear and good views on both front and rear cameras. Fast and informative customer service when I had connection issues (issue solved). Only problem I have is the daylight savings time conversion. I can’t seem to find the right GMT zone in the app settings, but I’ll have to play with it to find the right zone. Otherwise, I highly recommend it from the other dash cams that I’ve had.

Difficult to connect
Very difficult to use. You have to connect to wifi to view your videos. We tried connect to wifi under setting. The default password is 123456789. It kept saying wifi unavailable or wifi disabled. Not to mention, my front and back camera screen black. I can not see "live view". Very inconvenient. The reason we bought it here because it's cheaper compared to Best Buy.

A needed accessory for every car.
These cameras have saved me manytimes. If you are buying a dash cam setup, Thinkware is a top brand sold at many top retailers. Don't waste money on the low cost setup. Buy a quality unit like what Thinkware sells.

Best dash camera
I bought this camera not expecting a lot as I have had some terrible experience with other cameras but the thinkware surpassed every expectation. I also got the gps sensor and the OBD2 power plug. The camera was easy to install, setup and use (powers on and off with the ignition). Video quality is amazing. With the app and wifi connection it is super easy to view and download videos. I have an M1 sports camera by thinkware and found customer service to be out of this world. I highly recommend this camera to everyone!!!

Not a great 1080p camera
Ill post some pictures or video later, but I bought this camera to help identify people who hit my vehicle. Supposed to come with a G force sensor that will record when dings take place, sure it works...but it usually only works when I hit every single speed bump or pot hole in the road. Not sensitive enough to feel door dings. Had someone back into my truck and dent my rear quarter panel in really nice and the camera never even registered the hit. To make matters worse, the camera picture quality is questionable. I bought this because of some reviews that state the picture is good enough to see license plates at night in low light situations. I can barely even get license plates from daytime recordings. The biggest beef I have with it though is that I was rear ended a few weeks ago (yeah, this place sucks) and the camera was recording...but the rear camera wasnt even turned on. Turns out the plug for the rear camera is finicky and you better make sure the camera is plugged in ALL THE WAY. If its not seated perfectly, it wont record. Luckily I was found not at fault for that collision, but something to be wary of. So Ive had a need for this camera twice since I bought it in October and neither time was the camera of any use to me. Install is questionable - I had mine professionally installed because I wanted it to function when I turned my vehicle on, and I didnt want cables just all over the place. Easy to install if you use the lighter plug, but not so easy if you have the wiring harness...and if you know what you're doing, great. If not, you'll have a mess everywhere. It works. Its enough for me, so long as the front end camera works...and when it doesnt, Ill be sure to update my review and provide pics of the broken pieces of the camera due to my rage quitting this camera.
