Clarice Cliff Reproduction Paperweight May Avenue - Small

I bought this quickly having skim read the details - big mistake. It wasn't the shape I was expecting and it is simply a coaster like paper weight. I have many original Clarice Cliff pieces and thought this would be a novelty, and couldn't resist, but I was disappointed with the quality.The design is ok-ish but the picture is highlighted with too many touches of gold coloured paint that make it look tacky in my opinion.I am so glad I didn't buy any more along the same lines.It is the same with anything I suppose, you get what you pay for.

I don't know what I expected for the price I suppose but never the less I was quite disappointed with this paperweight. The design is just printed on a piece of cardboard and stuck to the back of the glass. It looks..... cheap, but then I suppose that's because it was cheap.So if you want a cheap looking paperweight this is for you, if not you'll have to spend a bit more.

Very nice item. The design really stands out and the colours are excellent, this item came just as described, very pleased.

I am not a huge Clarice Cliff fan but living in a road called May Avenue I could not resist buying this paperweight. In real life it looks just like it does in the picture, possibly a bit more colourful, and it is a nice novelty to have sitting around.Five stars awarded simply for the May Avenue connection!
