I like these so much I’m thinking absolutely it buying a 3rd one and cutting it in half for two small spaces. I haven’t cut yet but don’t see any reason you couldn’t trim it.

Q: How does the absorbed water get out? Evaporation?

It absorbs the water through to the backside. I am not pleased with this mat.

Q: Is it machine washable?

Q: Is this mat heat resistant

I doubt it. It may dry on the surface but the water soaks through and back side is often wet. Disappointed with this purchase.
