The pieces stay together like Lego pieces . The houses are tinier than I expected but they look awesome when completed. A lot of detail. I’m looking for more like these to purchase.

These things are awesome! All the little hidden things they put into them are great.

This set comes with 4 buildings to make. I made two of the buildings with no issues, but the third one (Ramen shop) was missing a piece. Luckily, I was able to find what I needed from the extra pieces leftover from the first two buildings that I had already constructed. However, on the fourth building (Kimono shop) the set was missing the sticker sheet needed to decorate several of the pieces. Stickers are specific to each building, so now way to borrow from extras, which was disappointing. Constructed sets are about 4 1/2 inches tall. While I enjoyed building the sets, I would caution against purchasing as a gift for someone else, due to two of the four sets missing pieces.
