I use wet bed cutters regularly and this one performs very well and is excellent value at the price. Decent amount of power. The tray is very easy to top up. The disc is very well shrouded. Nice and compact but also very sturdy.

I would only use outside as it can get very messy. Also the moveable measuring attachment isn't very good or stable... but I never relied on it any way. Good product and price and would buy again

I purchased this with the reassurance of a 3 year warranty, spare parts available and a very friendly and approachable aftersales team at Einhell (confirmed this after ringing them prior to ordering and very impressed). That aside, I've tackled 5mm bathroom tiles with ease and two more projects lined up. The diamond cutting blade purrs through the tiles after the underneath water cools it down and makes a lovely cut. The all steel construction of the machine I reckon beats plastic versions for rigidity. It isn't noisy. It's lightweight. Very simple to put together out of the box. Spare blades very affordable. Easy to clean machine afterwards. Just ensure you wear safety specs, keep the water reservoir topped up and wear a t shirt that you don't mind getting a little damp from the spray from the cooling water! ( can't be avoided and serves a purpose). First Einhell product I've had....May well entertain more....🙂

Let's be clear, this isn't a pro tool and shouldn't be expected to perform like one. The basic construction is very good. A little self assembly is required but very simple. The euro plug needs to be chopped and changed for a UK spec 3 pin. The cut itself is actually very clean, I used it to cut thick encaustic Victorian tiles, cuts up to 6" long. It cooed well and the water bath does its job, needs frequent topping up though as it's quite small. What lets it down are silly but crucial parts. The bracket that holds the guard is flimsy beyond belief and works loose within seconds, the guard is essential (obviously) not only to prevent accidental blade contact but also catch the (considerable) spray during the cut. The guide rail is frustrating. The locking nuts are genuinely horrid, painful to tighten, take a huge effort to tighten to secure rail then next to impossible to shift. Due to this getting the rail straight can be a long drawn out process, it really lets what could be an excellent package down. Like au said this isn't a pro tool, it's very reasonably priced and could easily get 5 stars, I deducted two because the guard bracket issue is serious, the guide rail frustrating.

Fantastic for the money

1. No assambly instructions. Manufecturer probably things you should work it our yourself. That is such safety hazard and I strongly believe such product should not be sold. 2. Poor quality of the whole tool. It just feels small and cheap. It might be all right for small tiles up to 20x20cm however the work area is just to small for larger tiles. The measure bar feels flimsy and does not secure in place well. 3. Cuts are shocking. I bought this for a few cuts little bit more complicated then my normal tool will do and I am really disappointed. It chips at ends and cut is not clean. I ended up going to diy chain to buy different tool, sligtly more expensive however I have no problems with that one. Cuts are uniform and with no chipping as on this one. I recommend paying slightly more and get better quality. At the end of the day you will be left looking at those chipped edges if they are not covered!

I'm using it to cut not only tiles but also 25mm thick stones and it does it perfectly! Just watch the feeding speed to make sure the blade doesn't overheat. I used to cut stones with huge bridge saws and I'm impressed with what this small device can do. Defo value for the money!

I just used the cutter for the first time 10 minutes ago. The blade is horrible and my tile is all chipped. Reading the reviews before buying it I saw it was regularly mentioned and nearly automatically bought another blade then thought I would try it first. The work is now postponed until I get the new blade I just ordered.

Gets the job done

Nos ha servido de gran utilidad para cortar una serie de azulejos de diferente grosor en una fuente. Por poner algún tipo de defecto si es verdad, tal y como he leído en diferentes comentarios, que hay que añadir bastante agua para que no se caliente el disco. También podríamos decir que el soporte que sirve para mantener la pieza a una distancia del disco No se agarra con facilidad a la mesa de trabajo digamos que se mueve en el momento en el que empiezas a desplazar la pieza para el corte. Es la parte más importante a destacar que no nos ha gustado porque a ojo es imposible cortar la pieza ya que el disco tiende a mover la pieza. Se trata de una pequeña barra que se agarra con dos piezas enroscadas a la mesa de trabajo. Y la verdad es que en el momento de fijar las se queda en su sitio pero al desplazar la pieza nos damos cuenta que por la regla de medición que tiene la mesa se desplazan los agarres y mueven esta barra. Por lo demás decir que funciona perfectamente es una máquina con bastante potencia, el disco funciona correctamente y quitando el problema del agua y elmedidor nos ha servido de gran ayuda para adelantar el trabajo.

Ich kann nicht verstehen wie hier einige das Gerät so schlecht machen. Ich habe heute die Fliesen im Gäste-WC geschnitten. Das Gerät funktioniert wunderbar. Natürlich wird man dabei etwas vollgespritzt, aber das ist normal. Man kann sich ja auch etwas seitlich stellen. Einen Regenschirm habe ich jedenfalls nicht benötigt! Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät! Allerdings müsste ich daran etwas nacharbeiten da, wahrscheinlich durch den Transport, die Trennscheibe angestoßen ist. Jetzt läuft sie wunderbar frei. Eine ausführliche Anleitung war nicht dabei und wird auch nicht benötigt. Die Bilder sind aussagekräftig genug. Ich hatte das Gerät in 10 min. fertig montiert. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen!

Lite "plåtig" men gör jobbet. Diamantklingan tar sig lätt igenom kakelplattorna men vattnet stänker ordentligt och behöver fyllas på ofta!

Corta bien con el disco suministrado aunque hay que deslizar la pieza despacio y con bastante pulso para que al final no le dé un bocado a una esquina. Recomiendo usarla con el poncho que te dan en el parque de atracciones para la lluvia o las atracciones de agua. Si tienes gafas de protección con limpiaparabrisas te ahorrarás el quitártelas para limpiarlas tras cada azulejo o baldosa. Definitivamente, ten una toalla preparada, procura poner alguna barrera detrás de la máquina para no mojar paredes, muebles, etc. y coloca toallas, trapos o camisetas viejas justo detrás de la cortadora lo más cerca que puedas del depósito de agua y ten un cubo a mano para escurrirlos cada 3 - 4 piezas cortadas. No es exageración, estas recomendaciones son totalmente en serio. Da igual si en el depósito de agua tienes un nivel entre el mínimo y el máximo recomendado, por encima o por debajo. Frente borrascoso con chubascos intensos. Por otro lado, sus prestaciones son bastante buenas. Permite ingletear en horizontal (sólo 45º) o en vertical en ángulos entre 0º y 45º para hacer uniones externas (las internas no suelen necesitar inglete, una losa tapa a la otra generalmente). Sujeta bien la pieza y deslízala con cuidado lo más derecho que seas capaz. Fija bien la máquina a la mesa de trabajo con tornillos o con sargentos o se te moverá mientras haces los cortes y con este tipo de máquinas los sustos pueden ser gordos. Con la guía de plástico para el inglete horizontal sólo se pueden hacer cortes a 45º, que es adecuado para la mayoría de situaciones. La guía metálica para el ajuste de la distancia de corte tiene un pequeño inconveniente, las ruedas con tuerca para fijarlas no aprietan mucho y es fácil que se mueva durante el corte si no se desliza la pieza derecha. Se pasan fácilmente de rosca, no es posible apretar mucho para evitar ese problema. Si no se hace fuerza lateral durante el corte se aguantan en su sitio y corta bien, pero es un factor a tener en cuenta, sobre todo si se van a hacer ingletes verticales, donde es más difícil deslizarla derecha sin apoyarse mucho en la guía. La calificación de 4/5 es por la relación calidad/precio. Para una máquina de menos de 60€ las prestaciones son más que razonables.
