Nikon 200-500 mm/F 5.6 AF-S NIKKOR E ED VR lenses

Well, what can i say? I bought this in 5 payments, it is superb. I use it on a Nikon D500 and i have found it to find focus quickly and accurately again and again. The lens is let down a little bit by the fact its not weather proofed unlike the tamron 150-600.I had the tamron lens but sold it. In my opinion this lens beats the tamron hands down on focus speed and clarity. If you are looking for a long range zoom lens for sports or bird photography etc dont overlook this one.

As I do a lot of aviation photography I needed a lens with more reach than my 300mm. This lens provides quality results right through the focal length and would recommend this for anyone taking nature or aviation photos.It's obviously a heavy chap, so I bought a sling for my camera which takes the weight off my neck. Panning with the camera is wobbly at first until you get used to the weight. Really, really good!

I wanted to like this lens so badly. Its heavy yes, but I could live with that. The issue I found was with the AF at max focal length. It would not find the subject so I had to manually push it out to infinity and then let it AF back in from there. Okay for static items in the distance, but try taking pictures of birds flying.I still want a long telephoto, search is back on.

Fabulous lens ❤️Just love it. The only downside is the weight otherwise it’s the perfect Lens for getting close to wildlife.

Very sharp even at f5.6 great piece of kit

super images, superb vr ,not to heavy just a great lens.

Have,nt used it yet but several friends told me to buy as best thing since sliced bread,Sure it will be.
