Very good deal for taco seasoning mix. Was a little salty so I used less seasoning than what the recipe calls for.

This seasoning is a classic for good Tex Mex
The supply chain shortages of the recent past have caused me think outside the box. Sometimes inside the box. There holes in the shelf for my usual's, but Old El Paso Taco shell being a staple. I instead reached for the "kit" with sauce and seasoning. Either I have taken a liking to this blend or the OEP makers have upper their game in their spice mix. This is a really great stand alone mix. But, to be honest, I have a half dozen or more old favorites that I like to mix together. When is use 3 to 6 pounds of meat I will 3 to 6 packages of different or mostly different brands. This OEP, McCormicks, Taco Bell and La Preferida are my core brands and I add whatever I found at the store. Or just double up on of the others.
