Q: Can the case protect it when the phone accidentally falls?

I have been using this case for almost a month now, and it accidentally fell off the desktop last weekend. The phone is not damaged.

Q: How long will it turn yellow?

I have been using this case almost every day since March 7th, but it still hasn't turned yellow.

Q: Are the buttons on the side of the phone open, or covered by the case? I have a similar one and I can’t press the buttons properly so need to replace

Buttons are covered apart from mute button which is open, but even though covered they are very easy to press.
