This Winter

Short little novel. I read this book in one sitting :] it also not long at all. Really cute and also read close to Christmas so Really recommend 👌 👏 ☺️ (I love nick and Charlie relationship ❤️)

How can someone so totally jump in your head and perfectly encapsulate the Christmas Holiday family experience? Every perspective was wonderful and insightful, with just the right touches of humor. AKA "evil dinosaurs"🤭 And I was so glad that this had artwork as well, which broke up the story nicely.Let me tell you, I'm going to need a physical copy to sit down with on a rainy day with a hot apple cider in hand. Just a lovely experience.

They always manage to perfectly share what it’s like to be a mentally ill teenager and it breaks my heart. I think the Osemanverse is so important for the light it brings to mental health along with the realities of being queer. It’s always beautifully done and touches my heart.I love these characters and I love each POV we got in this story. It’s definitely not the typical warm Christmas story but it’s the reality of some.

My daughter loves this author and this was a great edition to her collection!

the book was delivered nicely and got here on time. now for the actual book I have all the heart stopper books so it was no surprise I loved this one too. It takes place on Christmas and it goes deeper into Charlie's Ed and how he is doing. Oliver even has a part in the book where he is talking first hand and we get to know how he is feeling and how he thinks which is pretty cool we also get to see how both Nick and Charlies familys are and over all it is a great book I definitely recommend it if you like heart stopper 😊

I thought this novella was a neat way to show us a bit of perspective from each of the Spring kids. It’s nice seeing more Nick and Charlie celebrating the holidays together. Charlie’s battle with mental health and his eating disorder were heavy focuses but so was Tori’s point that nothing matters more than supporting him even at her own suffering. It was nice seeing each character develop their own thoughts and needs throughout the story.For that reason I go back and forth on if Oliver’s section is really necessary for the story. Oliver’s was the shortest and didn’t really provide much since he’s 8 years old. Still the sweetness and some pretty good advice to his mom made the section kind of worth including. Plus it ends on a loving note, which is exactly who he is.I’m glad it’s in the series but it’s definitely not the most necessary read. If you want to skip then I think you could.

A very wholesome and sad but real story of Charlie’s Christmas since being back. We get to read all the three siblings POV of how it all goes down.
