For Alcatel One Touch Evolve 5020T 5020 Cover Case (TSTAND Hybrid Black/Pink)

May 2, 2014 ***** update after using two covers for three months. We still love the product, they look the same as the day we got them. One phone was dropped three times on the tile floor from about 3-4 ft and the phone/cover are fine. The second phone was dropped at least twice as much by the kids who constantly play games on the phone but everything is ok... We still have the spare covers, and it seems that we will not need them anytime soon.Feb 19 2014 ***** After reading some of the reviews, I was not sure what to expect as you can always find negative reviews, but I bought six of them anyway (for two phones) for about a dollar a piece and it is well worth it. I had bought previously four after market covers for my son's iPhone and it took four tries to get a good fit.Today I have just received the covers for the Evolve and I am very happy with the product. I feel that this product was not well described, and if it had more pictures, I think that more people would buy it without as much research as I did trying to find out how it attaches to the phone and why some people complain about it breaking when installing or removing from the phone.PROS:- perfect fit for Alcatel One Touch Evolve- does not cover the usable part of the display- perfect use of all the buttons after being installed- excellent quality- very inexpensive- nice colors choices- nice grip with dual cover: colorful silicon/rubber and black plastic- nice stand for vertical or horizontal viewing- easy to install- easy to remove- provides some protection to the phoneCONS:- makes the phone a little biggerWIST LIST:- water resistantHere is what you get:1) The pink part in the picture (this comes in many other colors) is made of a rubbery material and is the inner cover - covering all the back, sides, and front sides of the phone . This pink cover is also under the black plastic part and the phone slides in it very easy. On the four corners, the rubber is a little thicker (2.5/3 mm) to be in line with the plastic part and absorb the shock in case of dropping the phone. This rubber cover has an indentation button for power and volume buttons so that they are easy to use with the cover on.2) The black plastic cover attaches over the rubber cover which has indents so that both covers are at the same level and are not protruding out. It has a nice stand which can be used on both horizontal and vertical viewing. The stand clicks in while not in use, and it is level with the back of the phone as in the picture. This looks like it is nicely build and should last if used properly.With the cover on the phone measurements are as follows:- 126 mm length (121 w/o cover)- 70 mm width (64 w/o cover)- 135 mm corner to corner (130 w/o cover)- 17 mm thickness (12 w/o cover)It has a good grip and it feels nicer when laying it with the display down because it touches the black rubber part. When laying it down with the display up, it feels hard due to the contact with the hard black part/stand.Some of the users complained about problems installing it or removing it. However, to me and my wife, this was very easy. To install it, first slide the phone in the (pink) rubber cover making sure the power button on the top of the cover is on the top of the power button of the phone - very easy step. Next, attach the black plastic cover by placing the part with the power button first and slowly pushing it in while opening the sides a little - could be a little tricky as the rubber part is not slippery. The black cover keeps the rubber part very well attached to the phone.To remove it, remove the black plastic cover from the bottom of the phone (opposite side of the power button) while opening the slides with your finger nails- very easy. The only reason I can think of removing the cover would be to insert or change the SIM card, memory card, or battery and this is something that is rarely done. I already installed and removed the cover(s) twice just to test it, and if you push slightly on the sides to open them a little, this is very easy. However, if you just push the plastic on top of the rubber without opening the sides a little or after aging for a few years, I can see how the sides of the plastic can snap off.I will update after using for a while, but so far this is an excellent product which I strongly recommend.

The product comes in 2 pieces, the pink part is rubber and the black is a hard cover case to hold it. The black casing has a stand on the back that pops out so you can prop your phone up for viewing in a group. It makes my phone feel secure in my hands as it adds extra bulk to the thin body of the phone itself (which slides around on my lap without the case) I like that both pieces of the case go right over the existing phone casing without having to remove any frame or back panel. Definitely the best case I have had.

Good product, seems to provide good protection. Only concern I have is that the stand is SUPER TIGHT to the case and it feels like you may break it trying to free it for use. I'm going to remind my 11 year old to be delicate so as not to break the stand but it seems a bit inevitable - we shall see.

I bought this case for my aunt and she seemed to like it very much. I decided to buy the product online because it was much cheaper, however the phone case was fantastic.

Great case. Perfect for shielding a phone, has "squishy" edges in all the right places to catch your phone just right when it lands. I have had this case for near 5 months now, and it's still going strong. The prop is useful, and I cannot complain at all for the price, or for all the times it's saved my phone.
