good yeast nuitrient....very helpful aiding fermentation

Using for mead making with excellent results. Meads are notoriously low in nutrients and this, combined with Fermaid O, works exceedingly well in making meads without the off flavors resulting from stressed yeast. Happy yeast equals tasty mead.

Got this for fermenting mead, so far so good. Obviously won't know for months but seems to react well when I added.

The yeast immediately reacted. Made the mistake of giving my mead an extra shake to make sure any of the nutrient that got stuck to the inside of the neck got taken, and got a minute of fizz out the top.

Seems to do the job. One issue is that most of the mix is very fine powder except for what I assume are the DAP crystals, which are like fairly coarse salt. Because of this, if you try to dump straight from the bag, the crystals will shake to the top and come out first. The only way to do it is to use a scoop and stir it before scooping. Not really a big problem, but I see it as a minor problem. Maybe there's a reason they couldn't have powdered the DAP crystals to allow them to homogenize with the rest of the ingredients, but I don't know what that reason would be. But that aside, it's still a perfectly fine product.
