Worked first time. By the time I realised I had carpet beetles, a lot of little rectangular patches had appeared on my staircase carpet. I thought it was the dog scratching at the carpet going up the stairs at first. Anyway, cut to the chase, this wiped them out first application. I used the whole container and they were gone.

Yes it dried out carpet bettle. Although it is good spray, it does leak to your hand while spraying. So, it is best to wear glove.

After being quoted over 140 pounds I thought this might be worth a shot trying to get rid of carpet beetle. This has been an absolute god send, easy to use, spray and leave, this kills the bugs within 15 minutes from what I have encountered.... Another year another problem with Carpet beetle, back out with the spray and I haven't seen them since. The only problem with this spray is the smell, when spraying this in an enclosed room, its deadly... you'll come out coughing in no time at all. is it worth it? YES, the small amount of coughing you may experience while spraying and shortly after is worth it if you're trying to get rid of the pests.

So far so good.. no evidence of beetles. Spray dispenser very loose though, needs addressing

I found a few carpet beetles on my bedroom windowsill and on the living room windowsill, after a deep clean I sprayed all areas of my home including fabrics and finally have a little peace. I'm not too sure how it works on carpet beetles but I have high hopes after reading everybody else's reviews, which was what initially made me purchase this product. I have however tested it on pantry moth larvae, I have a pet lovebird and only recently realised that pantry moths can be an issue as bird seed is not regulated and pantry moths can infest bird seed storage. I have an air tight container I store her seeds in, I found a larvae crawling around on the glass inside so I put it in a clear bag and sprayed with this spray and within seconds the larvae was basically liquid 😂 will be spraying all my sides and cupboards down with this once I've bought more, really hoping it sorts the carpet beetle issue. I can say however that seeing it's affect on the pantry moth larvae eases my anxiety that any carpet beetles; larvae or eggs have a high potential to be killed off. Smell is a bit strong if you have a small space but nothing a few open windows won't solve, if you have asthma ( like me ) I recommend maybe going for a little walk just to be safe. Smell doesn't linger in the room which is great and doesn't leave any residue or staining.

I got this spray to help kill the carpet beetles as I was finding about 5-6 a day as well as cocoons. My flat unfortunately has a carpeted ceiling and walls but the flooring is wood. The spray was good enough to cover the walls so of a 17m2 room but not the ceiling. As for effectiveness, for the first two weeks, I wasn’t finding any signs of these beetles but when the third week rolled around, I started finding about one a day. After a month, I’m finding about three a day. I wouldn’t say it gives the three month protection the company says but it does work in the short term. You will need to do multiple rounds of the spray to make any real difference if you have an infestation like I do. The smell isn't strong but it does cause allergy like symptoms even if you can’t smell it so do leave the room to air out for at least a day after spraying. The price is a little steep given that you need to buy multiple bottles to stop it all together. The nozzle leaks when you press it and it does get all over your hands. I’ve bought two bottles so far and they both have this issue. The spray doesn’t stain which is good news!

Takes a while to work. You have to keep spraying and vacuuming every day until the problem goes away. Going to get another bottle to use to try and keep them from coming back.

I bought this spray for a client of mine who I'm personal assistant for. He'd been neglecting his flat for years and there was a lot of deep cleaning to be done. I'd never even heard of carpet beetles until I found a bunch of them, creeping and crawling around the window of his living room and he said he'd been bitten by something in his day bed. Gross! I did a little research and discovered what they were, so immediately looked for a solution that could be used which wouldn't cause respiratory issues. This spray looked ideal, so I gave it a try. It's not cheap but it's honestly worth every penny. Within a day, all the beetles were dead and I haven't seen a single one since. This is also very easy to use, just give the areas a light misting and leave it. I gave it 48 hours before vacuuming, just to be sure everything was dead! It doesn't leave a nasty chemical scent like flea spray might. So far, so good!
