I have had this for a year now, and for some reason, after not using it for several months, I had to recharge it overnight to get it up and running again. Aside from that, these are the things I like about this carbon monoxide detector. 1 - It is small and very lightweight, so great for trips. 2 - It uses a C charger, so I don't need to pack a special charger for this item. 3 - I just tested it behind my car. I set the alarm behind the car on a stool, ran to the front to start the car, and I didn't even have time to get to the back of the car before the alarm started beeping. 4- The beep is loud enough to wake you up, but not so loud that you need to scream over it. 5- the bright orange color helps me to find it in my suitcase and notice it so that I don't leave it in a hotel room.Negative: I lost the directions, and can't find a replacement online. I am trying to find out how to contact the seller, without luck so far.

You can charge it with a USB cord that’s pretty cool don’t you think? If this thing can save your life it’s very small but you know what put it in your pocket leave it somewhere attach it with some Velcro hang it on a lanyard definitely worth it by one by two it’s nothing like having protection if 1 fails the other ones are back up. Remember this is your life are talking about excellent product

Had this for more than a year now. I like the idea to have this while travelling, especially in air bnbs etc. i love that it shows the temperature and carbon monoxide levels as well. No false alarms. Simple to use, by just pressing a button. It works well but its starting to lose charge fast.

I'm extremely disappointed with the Cekkiena Carbon Monoxide Detector I purchased on Amazon. This product is an absolute disaster. It doesn't work as intended. I tried moving it to different rooms, and the reading didn't change, which is a huge safety concern. Moreover, the user interface is unnecessarily confusing, making it difficult to understand and use.I desperately wanted to return this non-functional item, but I lost the original box it came in, leaving me stuck with this useless piece of equipment. One star is too generous for this poorly designed and ineffective carbon monoxide detector. It's a complete waste of money and a potential safety hazard.

It was a great product and did what I needed it to do- detect carbon monoxide- which it didn’t… I was pretty sure I didn’t have any carbon monoxide in my home as I don’t have any gas engines or anything that makes carbon monoxide. I just purchased a home with a built in carbon monoxide detector in the alarm system… which would go off periodically for no reason as far as I could detect as again I don’t have any gas engines or garage connected to my home where one would park a car for instance… so for peace of mind and because I have guests staying in my home, I purchased for peace of mind. It was a great instrument- easy to read and I trusted it as I brought it out to my car and calibrated it as it did show carbon monoxide when by the car exhaust- just none in the home. I live close to a metropolis and I was convinced my home detector is picking up smog- and looks like I was right if it picks up anything - could just be a glitchy product on the home alarm system…

I took this Puerto Rico. We stayed in an Airbnb that did not have a carbon dioxide monitor in it and so I wanted to make sure that we had that and this worked well. I will say that it doesn’t hold a charge so you may have to charge this a few times, but it’s easy to charge. I think that I was there for five days and I charged it twice which is OK, but just be mindful of that if you’re not paying attention

This portable Carbon Monoxide and temperature monitor works surprisingly well. The display is bright and vibrant.I tested this near the exhaust of my Gas Stove that doesn't have a proper exhaust and can confirm the Carbon Monoxide reading went up. Moved away from the Stove and the reading went down.As far as temperature, it reads 2 degrees lower than my other temperature monitor, not sure which one is more accurate, but it's good enough.Overall, this was a great purchase as my main concern was Carbon Monoxide reading in the house. This helps put my mind at ease.
