Chicco NextFit iX Convertible Car Seat, Eucalyptus

This has been a great car seat with plenty of padding for our child, easy to install and get secure in a car. The car seat has tons of adjustments as well. The only thing is this seat is definitely large and my not fit in certain size vehicles.

This is an excellent car seat. I did a lot of research to make sure I was choosing the right car seat for us. It fits great in the center of the backseat of my Honda CRV with plenty of room for adults to ride on both sides (we only have one child so far, but the plan is that this will fit well next to additional car seats). It was easy to install. The release button is easy to push and release the straps (I noticed this was not so on the Britax Marathon which I was also considering). As for the color, I was hoping it would be more in the teal family, not so - it is VERY much a GREEN color. My husband of course loves it, so when we get the chance I will upgrade to a better color and he can have this model in his car. In the pictures my daughter is 17 months(she's below average in height), and as you can tell she fits very well with plenty of room to grow. I highly recommend this car seat.

As soon as I learned I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I had researched the best car seat and the very first one the popped up was this car seat. I read more into its specifications and see if this is exactly what I am looking for. It has a lot of safety and very easy features that I really love. My son is only a month old, and he fits perfectly. This comes with a newborn insert, so if you choose to buy a convertible car seat from day one, then this is perfect. It has a cover on the bottom buckle so you don't accidentally clip your child's thigh. It has a steel frame for added safety on its structure. It is very easy to install. It has "LockSure and SuperCinch" that only Chicco car seats have. These feature helps you easily install and secure and tighten the car seat. There are so many thing I can say about this car seat but there are only 2 things I don't like. It is pretty heavy and bulky. It is not something you'll be able to get in and out of the car easily. Overall, this car seat is great. If God blesses us with more children. I would definitely buy this brand and this line.

This is a great, super easy to install carseat. The cinching strap on the latch setup is so much better than other carseats! We swap this between our cars, so easy installation is important. It's a little heavy, but I'd rather it be sturdy and safe than light. My baby is comfortable in it, it's fairly easy to get him in and out. I like the little cover over the buckle too, my Britax infant carrier buckle used to pinch the baby's legs, and the cover on the nextfit prevents this. My only complaint is that there isn't something to hold the straps out of the way when putting him in, I have to dig them out from under him after setting him in it. But I would still buy this over other seats.

This car seat is the best car seat purchase we've ever made for our infant. We have 5 children and frequently drive across the country for various reasons. The Chicco NextFix iX is the most versatile, comfortable, and yet COMPACT seat we've purchased in the past 10 years. It fits in spaces that previous seats would not. It adjust easily to accommodate the angle our child sits at, and it installs quickly, making it easy to swap from one car to another in a couple minutes.

We love this car seat! When we upgraded from the basket infant car seat (our daughter reached the high limit at around 12 months) I researched a lot because I wanted a safe car seat that was easy to use. The Chicco Next Fit IX is both easy to install and it continues to be easy to get the kid in and out of it. The strap release button is a little touchy and needs to be pressed down very well, but once you have the muscle memory it isn't an issue at all. We love the color and the texture of the fabric make wiping off most spills easy, this was important to me since I didn't want to spend the extra $ to get the "zip" version. Baby seems to really like sitting up a bit more in more of a seat position than she was in when in her infant car seat.
