Q: Are they machine washable?

Yes - it says at 30°C on the packaging, but mine have survived 40°C without any problems.One thing about the socks is that black fluff from inside can get stuck to your feet - so if you're not careful, after taking off the socks, the floor can look like you've got a hairy-footed gorilla living with you!

Q: Do these socks keep their grip after more than a few washes? My elderly father needs good grips and previous buys have lost their grip after just a fe

I also bought these for my elderly father & have had three lots now as they are very good, very soft & the grip has been great for my dad, they keep feet warm & wash very well.

Yes they are. I wanted them to wear after a foot op. Still wearing them 8 months later and although some of the little ‘stickies’ have come off in the wash they are still non slip

that's because usually the bigger footed person buys loads at a time and stocks are soon exhausted. should send e mail to supplier on amazon site they are good at advise
