As a plumber advise my customers what's the replacement options they have if parts are required, with GROHE Hide a way cisterns ( my name for cabinet type cisterns ) I always use the GROHE parts as they just work without and hassle. GROHE 42181000 | Filling Valve If you have a button on the front of the cabinet, 1 Turn the water off. 2 flush the toilet. 3 ease \ pull the draw front away and it should slip of the catches, you can slip a hook or screw driver in the side to ease it forward on one side first. 4 remove the white lid using a lifting wiggle action if required, no need to disconnect the Button air pipe/s 5. hold the old valve and use an adjustable spanner to unscrew the connector and the holding nut and remove you may have to tilt it as it may only have a small gap to the worktop. 6 Fit the fill valve just in reverse order, and turn water back on STEADY at first just in case of any problems, you should be able to test it without the lid or front panel on, just press the button. No adjustment required they just work, Job Done!
