Fitted perfectly
The boot release had failed on my girlfriend’s Kia and I saw a video online showing it’s very simple to replace. I ordered this part and it was perfect and she now has a fully functional boot release again. Probably took no more than 20 mins to do

Fits perfectly and feels sturdy.
Feels like I would imagine a genuine part would. I can open my boot now! Thanks

Perfect
Received today and had it fitted to my Kia Rio in 20 mins. Works great. Would recommend.

Works Perfect
Boot was opening due to corroded switch and missing rubber. Arrived next day (Easter Sunday). Connector not compatible with Kia Picanto 2011. I had to cut the connector off to get the old switch through the housing anyway, so cut close to the switch leaving all the wire length and wired up to screw terminal block. Simple to just cut the connector off the new switch and link black to black and red to green. Tested all good, before refitting in reverse order.

Warning - connector may not be compatible with your vehicle
I purchased after reading several reviews and was confident this would fit my Picanto 2013 model. The issue I had was that the old rubber button had either been worn away or removed by someone. However, after taking it to the garage they advised that the connector was incompatible and had to cut the connector from my existing switch and solder it on to the part I had bought.Their best guess was that this was a European part and not a UK part which often have different set ups with male/ female connectors. This extra work meant extra time/ expense - so I would advise any UK purchasers to look for a UK part which is more around the £30 mark if they are looking for a straight forward replacement.Hope this will help others avoid the trouble I had.

Does the job
Fit perfectly in place of the OEM for my picanto.Only issue was the plug was for the rio not the picanto, not a big job to modify the wiring with the old plug.Works well and a lot cheaper than the genuine part.
