You can use that cable to charge your Meta Quest 2 Headset.

Q: Is it possible to use these with the Quest 2? I'm getting tired of the older halo models.

Yes. However, it is not easy to connect them to the Quest 2. I made a post on how to get them to connect, but I do not remember since it has been a while since I connected these controllers to my Quest. They are so much better than the original controllers. Good luck!

Q: Is this worth getting now with the meta update and for pcvr?

I would say yes. There is the slight inconvenience of having to charge the controllers if you don't get an extra charging cable. I like the better tracking on these.

For anyone stuck in the update for the controllers. My only sugestion is to find a friend with another oculus quest 2. I own 2 qeust 2 at my home and none of them would process the firmware update. Thankfully one of my Nerd friends also has one. So I got to update the controllers at his home. Even factory reseting my headset did not work. GL HF
