worth the money- nice case holds everything you will need

My 14-year-old daughter and I travel a lot. I purchased this sewing kit for her so she could learn how to sew. Usually I sew little things for her but she really wanted to start learning. She wanted to have something that she could carry with her when we travel. It's really a great idea. We took all her measurements with the tape measure. Her and I have been sewing things and practicing together and it's actually been a nice mother daughter activity while we haven't been really able to go out much. It's got a little bit of everything or maybe a lot of everything but it's been a pretty fun kit for both of us to learn and it even has nail clippers. I'm not really sure what that has to do with sewing but it came with nail clippers. It also has tweezers and a couple things I'm not really sure what they are but her and I have just kind of been playing around so it's been fun. And there's pretty much every single color of thread that you could need. Perfect size for traveling. It's not bulky. It's not heavy. It zips up so things don't fall out. It's got a little handle on it. And overall it's a pretty nice little kit. It's also something that you can refill once you use things. It's a lot better than I expected it to be.

The case is roomy and keeps your supplies handy.For someone looking for a travel sewing kit, you have enough to make any emergency repairs with this. Usually the scissors are garbage too, but this came with a decent pair I keep using.

This kit contains everything you need for simple repairs and the range of thread colors is very good. Would also be a great stocking stuffer at holiday time.

I appreciate the variety of thread and the extras that came in this pack. However the needles are very flimsy and I’ve bent two all ready on the day I received it. Overall for the price it’s a good deal but plan on buying higher quality needles.

I work in a theatre and bought this kit for quick repairs to costumes when our regular costume gal isn't around. It's got just about everything you need to fix a sagging hem or replace a button or repair a minor rip. The only quibble I have is that not all the pieces fit tightly into the holders inside the kit. When you first unzip the the kit, pieces may come flying out if you're not careful. Other than that, it's very useful and quite handy. I love it.
