DIN mounted Arduino and other DIN components make DIY projects easy and rugged.
DIN mounted components make DIY projects easy to prototype and are very rugged at the same time. The DIN rail mount for the Arduino UNO fit right into the rest of my project. However, I also added a terminal breakout board which expanded the size of my UNO. The terminal board provided rugged screw-in terminal connections but at the cost of the 5V and GND wires (on the bottom) nearly touching the metal DIN rail. A 2nd set of hole mounts or a groove cut out would be a nice feature. This would permit adjustment of the UNO in order to allow more clearance for wiring. I also sawed off the cable holders. (-1 star). Recommend the 3-pack (edited -- just saw them listed) -- handy for modifying software and swapping in/out of the hardware project. I am purchasing more of these.

a little floppy...
From manufacturer's website:"Note: because of the clearance on Arduino pin headers, not all screws holes can be used".Maybe just say "only two out of four" instead of "not all". Perhaps a redesign using narrower screws (and thinner-profile standoffs) would allow users to take advantage of all four screw holes and securely mount their Mega. It holds well-enough, but it's kind of ghetto to provide such limited mounting options. And while you're at it, increase the depth of the molded standoffs, because mine required washers behind the board in order to allow enough height for the USB cable and the power connector to be inserted. Do this and you will deserve 5 stars.

Not so easy to mount.
Well cool idea a little pricey. You have to go to website to check out how to mount the mega. Even then it is unclear which holes you can use to mount your unit. After several times of moving crews from one hole to another you realize that you can not use included hardware if you want the one side of your board( side with pins 1 thru 21) attached. There is not enough room for the screws or standoff because of the header.Holes for mounting are ever so slightly off center of arduino so the plastic plate bends just a bit when attached. Have not mounted to run rail yet. I will update this review when I do.If you do not mind these little problems its a good product. Pricey but so is everything else available to mount arduino to din rail.

Good, but expensive
A very good product but very expensive. Still, I use them for my Arduino projects to keep my boards up and our of the way while I work. I just wish they were a little less costly.

Squishy
It's functional, but the material is to soft so it is very difficult to pop it off the din rail with a screwdriver. You have to twist it and if there are other components in the way, not easy.

Missing parts - updated
Product did not come with screws as advertised.Update: seller sent missing hardware, updated from 1 star. Plate is sturdy, would purchase again

A useful tool....
This is a neat solution for accommodating an ARDUINO MEGA 2560 Rev3 and cloned variants on DIN rail systems. It is simple enough to attach the Mega 2560 to the carrier mount, but not with the supplied bolts....which risk crunching PCB components....as their heads are too large to fit between some items on the board. They are not self-tapping screws, just ordinary threaded bolts which are hard to screw into the plastic holes, which in the long run would wear away the bore. Best not to even go there. The solution was to use six M2 10mm bolts, with washers and nuts, which makes a perfectly secure fit, sliding through without damage to the mounting....and more importantly, the heads safely clearing all PCB components.More disconcerting was the vertical wobble, even if the Mega 2560 is not fitted with a shield. The mount does not sit quite vertical. If the foot in contact with the rail was twice as wide on the facing (Mega) side, then this may have mitigated this discrepancy.Packing the mount's sides with other solidly fitting standard DIN components did not help much to stabilise the mount....it may require these to be directly superglued to the mounting plate, to meet stability requirements for installation in mobile devices. There are some well considered anchors on the mount, with some thoughtfully provided cable-ties for binding USB and Power input lines in situ.It is expensive for what it is, and somewhat lacking the usual locked-in precision of DIN accessories.
