Green Budgerigar

Over a number of years we have a collection of Dog and Cat small statues representing all those that are still with us and those that we have had to say goodbye to, but will meet again. We recently had to say a sudden goodbye to our green Budgie, who has left his blue mate still with us. But we had a space amongst all of our small statues which needed to be filled. So we went looking for a green Budgie to fill that space, and found this little Guy on Amazon. Arrived very well packed within a few days, so handed the box to my Wife who duly opened it and burst into tears. This little Guy was totally brilliant and is so very well sculptured and coloured, there is nothing cheap about this product. He is so lifelike he could just launch off his branch and fly around the room. A really great purchase of something that has been created by someone somewhere with a real passion. Whoever you are a BIG BIG thank you.. And whilst cleaning out the cage there was a green tail feather that had now been fixed carefully to his branch.

I purchased this ornament for my uncle for his birthday as he used to have a budgie that looked the same. When he unwrapped it he loved it and smiled, saying how real it looked. It came packages in a box similar to the ones they put them in when you buy a budgie from the per shop it looked really cute .

I love this budgie ornament. Mine looks different to the Amazon picture (obviously due to it being hand-finished), but I actually prefer it. It’s detailed but without being over-the-top, it’s very realistic and overall well made. I purchased with Prime, so as always delivery was fine. Packaged well and arrived in one piece. I would 100% recommend, whether as an ornament for your home or as a gift for a budgie lover.

So life like, all thats missing is the budgie noise! Lovely, well made and so realistic. Can't help but smile at it. Looks just like my childhood budgie 'Jimmy', I still miss my original budgie 50 years on (had a few since then). A nice gift.

Bought as a rather desperate last-minute gift for a 90 year-old 'budgie lover'. She was delkighted, so I guess it deserves five stars. It does look pretty good, nicely detailed, so given that it got the approval of my aunt, who knows about budgies if anyone does, I'd say you're safe to go for this.
