I haven't ever tried any other rubber glues, but so far this is exactly what's needed. Never had any issues with rubber separation, no real odor, easy enough to remove the rubber afterwards. The nozzle is convenient in that it unscrews; so if you end up with a blockage you can unscrew it clear out the blockage. It's a pain to get off of textured OX rubbers, but I'm not sure that any glue is easy to remove from those. Also, with some sponges it seems to kinda soak in, and can't really be removed, but with other sponges it kinda rubs right off. I doubt this is avoidable with a thin water based glue. Anyways, even though I might get a different glue once this runs out to see the difference, I suspect this is pretty much ideal.

Bought this for a first-time paddle assembly and it was easy to use. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The first paddle I built I underestimated the amount of glue I needed and as I was spreading it, it balled up slightly on the sponge. If that happens, put just a little more on and use a new sponge to spread the glue again. Overall it was really easy to use and it also holds up well during use. No issues with separation. Definitely a good buy!

Have purchased this glue many times. This is easily the best glue. Easy to apply and remove without damaging blade or rubbers. I tried a few other known brands but each of them had this strange smell and bit more thicker in consistency too. Butterfly free check is a quality product.

As a novice at attaching my own rubber to a paddle this kit proved very useful. The instructions are concise and not difficult to follow. The results were excellent. I would suggest doing some YouTube viewing for the first time user as the videos provide some tips that make the process a "no brainer". I would recommend this product.

I purchased this for my husband several months ago. He was impressed with the quantity of glue and the fact that it included the sponges. After well over 6 months, the 3 paddles he repaired are still perfectly glued. He did use an alligator paper clamp on the sponges for application, because the blue one included was to cumbersome for the task. Considering you can't buy this in a local store, you can buy this with confidence knowing it will last a very long time!

It is easy to use and to spread. It keeps the rubbers well glued.

The clip was missing in the box .. so the product was sent with essential missing tiem.
