Halo 2

Utterly superb sound and graphics, engrossing gameplay, wondrous talent put in by the Bungie team. I have only played the single-player Campaign to date, but is is superb - there are a couple of minor irrelevant glitches, but these can be overlooked when offset against the enormity, the magnitude of such a groundbreaking title. There seems little point reviewing an FPS title if you don't like the Firrst Person Shooter (FPS) genre; 'Did you enjoy yourself fishing today?' 'No.' 'Why not?' 'I don't like fishing.' If you do like FPS, this game will simply delight and mesmerize millions of adult-children - the cuts between objectives are worthy of a Hollywood Blockbuster and the variety of accompanying atmospheric sound tracks and effects will show off the qualities of even a reasonable 5.1 system. Halo 2 and Burnout 3 Takedown for me are truly revolutionary advances in console gaming, and I am a highly critical person. I am simply staggered by the quality of these titles, and I have a fair deal of experience to base that comment on; from the early Ingersoll console, Commodore 64, Nintendos', loads of PC's and so forth. The Artificial Intelligence of your opponents further enhances enjoyment of the game, I shudder to think how good will things get in the future. If you expect Halo 2 to give you the winning lottery numbers it won't, but this is as good as it gets currently, namely very good indeed - or simply excellent. I feel we are spoilt for choice these days, Halo 2 is superb and pound for pound there is nothing that even comes close in my opinion. Even if I did not like the FPS genre I feel that I would appreciate the work that has gone into this gaming masterpiece.

Halo 2 is the game that me into the XBOX 360.. I got a 360 then after a few goes of different games I didn't like the controls after PC gaming for many years. So for months it sat there a white elephant. Then I decided to play halo 2 , as I didn't have vista on my PC and it was very expensive still , I got a hard drive for the 360 so I could play XBOX games and started Halo 2. After half an hour everything just clicked in to place and i found myself loving it .. So a great game, in many ways an improvement on the original Halo. For the price you would mad to pass this by and will last you many many hours. The only weak point was the slightly lame ending that was too easy , no big climax as in Halo. I highly recommend all Halo games

I am a massive Halo fan, I love the game and the merchandise. Halo is arguably one of the best games ever made. I can't count the amount of times I battled through the campaign mode or the hours my friends and I spent slaughtering each other on multiplayer mode. Just a truly ingenious game. Now on to Halo 2. Just lacking in the spark that the first one had. Modifications to the weapons are annoying except the dual wield capability. The pistol has lost its scope and so has lost part of what made it such an awesome weapon. The assault rifle is now awesome with it's scope but you can now carry hardly any ammo for it, why? Althoughth campaign is beautiful, as everyone has said TOO DAM SHORT! The only reason I rushed out and bought this game is because of the first. That's why every one bought it right? The designers knew this and so didn't bother to make the campaign long and challenging. But still like I said I am a die hard Halo fan and so this game has got 4 stars, because lets face it..........it's still Halo.

Having only played Halo Combat Evolved, I was not sure how much I would like Halo 2, bearing in mind that the graphics are from a game that is nine years old. That said, I`m mightily impressed!!! Yes, the graphics do not match the remastered ones in Halo CE, but they are still pretty awesome and the story line is excellent. It picks up from the original Halo, so having played that helps. In summary, "The Master Chief" still rules!

I gave it 5 stars because to be honest the game is close to perfect. The story game pace and unique feel of every weapon is outstanding however obviously considering its age the graphics are outdated. I would recommend this to any halo player for the story and just for another 20 levels of halo goodness.

This game brought my son many hours of joy as he led on the sofa and refused food, drink, to go out, or have any social interaction of any sort. Which I gather is the bench mark for a good addictive game so well done Halo.

es war das erste spiel dieser art, das ich je gespielt habe und hat somit auch den prägendsten eindruck auf mich gemacht. heute kann es natürlich nicht mehr mit dem grafisch gebotenem überzeugen, wer sich aber bereit ist fallen zu lassen und dieses universum erleben will wird es nicht bereuen... der 2.te teil dieser francise ist für mich im punkt der story der beste der einzige der mich richtig beeindruckt hat. hier kann man viel tiefer in die geschichte eindringen, weil sie von beiden parteien aus betrachtet wir. auf der einen seite die verzweifelt ums über leben kämpfende Menschheit und auf der anderen die religiös, vanatistische Allianz. bis heute beeindruckt mich der charakter der Allianz,aus den verschiedenen alien-rassen, den Bungie entwickelt hat

El juego es muy bueno, realmente lo disfrutas, valoras en la actualidad la definición y la alta resolución de las nuevas sagas, pero el juego es muy entretenido, se reprodujo perfectamente en la Xbox 360, el único pero los diálogos en Ingles de los personajes. Que si no dominas el idioma no te enteras de que va la trama !!!!
