Portland Bee Balm Simple Salve All Natural Handmade Beeswax Based Hand Moisturizer

I love the simplicity and effectiveness of this balm. The smell is intensely beeswax, but nothing artificial and it smells lovely (the beeswax scent disappears quickly too). You can use it as a skin lotion or lip balm. In fact I found it is very effective for very chapped lips. Keep in mind it is heavy, so a little goes a long way. It melts in your hand quickly, which helps with skin absorption.

This balm is the most natural and simple and effective I have used. I handle cardboard boxes that are dusty a lot because of my job. Even in the cold this balm keeps the skin on my hands from splitting that causes pain and bleeding. Amazing stuff

Absolutely awesome salve! I’ve been looking for something to moisturize and relieve extreme dryness. I work with cotton fabrics regularly, so combined with the cold weather, my hands look and feel like old cardboard. This product felt amazing when I applied it - immediate relief! The salve is more waxy than creamy, so you have to scrape with your fingernail a wee bit to get the product out, which makes no difference to me. A little goes quite a long way and depending how much you use, you may have to work it into your skin for a couple minutes. I’m so happy I ran across this during my search for a product with beeswax; this is a keeper and I won’t be without it again. Highly recommend!

Nothing compares to this quality skin salve. I use it every day on my face, hands, and anywhere I have dry skin. Easy to take with me on-the-go. The smell is mild and smells like bees wax.

I use the lip balm in the tubes from this company and have had the tin for a while now. I mostly use it on my lips and face sometimes but I even put it on the ends of my hair. Not oily at all, just pure waxy buttery that really coats.

I needed a really simple, non-stinging, unscented, As Basic As Possible healing salve for my cats' snouts, which were suffering in a dry climate. This balm interested me because of its simple ingredients. As a West Coast girl, the ingredients list was actually what sold me, because there's only TWO THINGS IN THIS SALVE! You really can't beat having just TWO items on the ingredients list: 1. California Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2. Pacific Northwest Beeswax. Simple, effective ingredients with great healing power. If my cats end up licking this Portland Bee Balm off their noses before it can sink in, I'm not worried about them accidentally getting poisoned. Portland Bee Balm is also just a great all-purpose healing salve. Hand salve, cuticle balm, lip balm, it does it all. For those with a sensitivity to fragrances (myself included), Portland Bee Balm is unscented, but it actually does have a scent - just not from "fragrance." Portland Bee Balm has a really lovely and gentle scent that kind of smells like honey and hay, because olive oil and beeswax have mild, natural scents. I love Portland Bee Balm. Highly recommended!

I use this on my dry skin and it is so much better than lotion! It creates a barrier to irritants and locks in moisture. Quality: A++ Moisturizing: Extra moisturizing

The original balm had beeswax as the first ingredient (see photo on the company’s website). However the balm I received had olive oil as the first ingredient with beeswax second. I guess they’re trying to save on costs but this is disappointing.
