9Pin USB 2.0 Female Pin Dual 2 Port USB Motherboard Header Adapter-Dual Layer Type for PC (Dual)

I must admit that I had low expectations from this product. I thought for sure this wouldn't work. I used it to connect the front USB-C port to a motherboard that had no USB-C integrated into the board. I had no need for the USB 2.0 connector on the motherboard since the case only had front USB 3.0 and USB-C. This adapter fit the bill perfectly. I tested it in many different ways and with several USB-C devices. It worked flawlessly. Even a USB headset worked great with no static as one reviewer encountered. There are two downsides. First is the obvious speed limit of the USB 2.0 bus. Second is that this adapter is fragile and you'll want to be cautious with installation and cable management. Other than that it's great and I recommend it if you want to make a front USB-C port usable on a motherboard that doesn't support it built in.

Great internal USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 converter.Because i installed the graphics card in the lower slots to free up space for the M.2 SSD heatsinks with fans the USB 2.0 ports got blocked from the card.This thing did a great job converting the other 2 USB 3.0 USB slots on the side of the motherboard to be able to connect the Corsair Commander XT fan controllers to it through a NZXT USB 2.0 hub

These work great. Super affordable.They do not seem to lock firmly into the 9pin header, they can easily move if bumped or if another cable touches them but they do not move on their own and they do not fall out of the ports on their own or have connection issues like some reviews mentioned.

nice design that allows me to get it close to the case. The plug is inline with the pcb so it gives the most space on the usb ports.

It feels a little delicate and it sort of sticks straight up from the motherboard, but it works as expected.

My mobo doesn’t have usb headers and I just got some corsair fans without realizing I would need 9pin’s, this adapter fixed that for me and now I can use icue

I bought a case that had usb c for a motherboard that didn't have enough connector, so I got this and plugged it into my usb header and it worked like a charm!

Works well... no complaints.
