I was looking for just a hot comb for the house for me , nothing expensive, but something good ! This is EVERYTHING! I have a $60 hot comb at the salon and I will be buying another one of this for the salon and this is only less that $30. It gets HOT HOT within 5 min ( I set a timer to see how long it takes ) Not only it get hot … very hot ! It gets hot quickly.! That is everything you will need/want in a salon when you trying to get your clients in and out ! I am natural ! And when I say it pressed my hair ALL THE WAY OUT STRAIGHT! I have course hair and usually I would blow dry my hair out straight and then put the hot comb on there to straighten it ! But with this hot comb I just wanted to test the hot comb out when it came in the mail so I just took a small piece and went through my hair . And when I say STRAIGHT! I mean STRAIGHT! BUY IT ! I’m happy with this purchase and will be purchasing another one for my salon and the one that I have that’s worth $60 that goes to 500 degrees also I will be putting that up for back up !!! Worth the purchase plus a GREAT PRICE ! You can’t beat that !

The hot iron gets very and work as expected. The iron is very light weight so you need a larger mat to under it in case it moves unexpectedly.

Love the comb. For me the comb heated up very fast, easy to handle, and the short teeth of the comb excellent And pressing my hair was excellent. I'm giving a 1 rating because after having the comb for only 3 months (Feb 4, 25-May 4, 25). The black coating on the comb started peeling off into my hair. I was using the comb last night and noticed a big piece of the coating had peeled off. And the comb just shut off. What ever happened to the good pressing combs from back in the day. It's always a hit and miss with these pressing combs now!

First time ever trying a smaller type hot comb, besides I was on the hunt a long time to find one that gets your hair/wig straight with one pass. Too bad those old fashioned ones you put on the stove wasn’t inconvenient, the best ever. Anyways after reading much of the reviews I decided to give it a try. I can say it heats up pretty quickly, the setting choices are on point, upon trying it out, I didn’t like the small teeth, seems the hair is not getting in between as normal, I’m use to a little more teeth size to assure those hair strands are in to give that one pass. Possibly I could be returning for one with a little wider teeth. I do love the size though, to hold it is very lightweight and comfortable. Not sure if it’s something I can get use to and not bother with the hassle to return it. Then starting over for another brand. I do have one in my cart at Walmart just in case. Highly recommend brand and the teeth is exactly what I need. Each is own, if anyone can benefit from this type I suggest buying one. I deducted the points only for the teeth, otherwise it’s a really good brand.
