Never bought a NUC before. I was worried about performance. Was not an issue. Added 32GB Ram and 1TB m2 stick and installed VMware 7. Performed awesome for me. Have multiple VM's running and performance is great. I am very happy overall with Size, fan noise and performance. I recommend this product.

Excellent computers. I bought TEN of these (from Seller Nenchin). I went for the 512GB SSD / 16GB RAM option, With a 4 core i7 CPU running at 2.8GHz and 16GB of memory, I can have loads of windows open and performance is still excellent. The 512GB SSD makes bootup very quick. We use them even for applications as demanding as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe AfterEffects (video editing), It really has everything needed in a desktop computer.
