Q: What is the maximum opening of the clamp base?

Going by the lower portion of the clamp that goes on the underside surface of the desk top, it is about 1 1/4" inches. depth. The topside of the clamp is about 1 3/4". The desk top edge has a molding that is about 3/4". Better depth for the bottom half of the clamp would have been at least 2 inches. The topside of the clamp should be at least 2 1/2". I got the clamp to work by putting a piece of wood on top of the desk, but the top of the clamp still tends to tilt away from the desk.

Q: What color (light temperature is the led) daylight or warm white?

This lamp is giving a daylight not warm white. Very nice.

Q: How long is the power cord?

around 3.5 ft from the switch to the plug and 1 ft from lamp to switch

Q: How can we replace the part that attaches to the table?

That I do not know… with the right tool and fabricator experience that could be easy.
