Lemme Tell You a Story: Memoirs of REV. Msgr. Allen J. Roy

I grew up going to Holy Spirit. We all loved and adored Father Roy. He was so kind to my Mom after my Dad passed away. My Mom had to move away to be closer to her kids and she SO missed the parish and hearing all of Father Roy's stories. I bought this book for her and "Lemme Tell You" it made my 92 year old Mom so happy. It gave her a feeling home. Thank you Father Roy for sharing your stories. (Of course I read it before I mailed it to her!)

Fr. Roy was always a great storyteller and an amazing person. Reading the book felt like being in his presence - I could hear him speaking. The stories were arranged seemingly in no particular order but very effective in drawing the reader into the book and into his family. I loved the telling of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church story because it was an experience I remember fondly. Fr. Roy is truly the finest person I have ever known and he writes with the same honesty and compassion that guides his life. This was a great book!

I am anxiously awaiting my copy of this book. Monsignor Allen Roy is an awesome priest and I am truly blessed to call him my friend. I have only read a few pages sent to me from his book and can tell this will be an amazing book! :)Received my book a few days ago and thoroughly enjoy reading this. Way to go Monsignorness!
