The battery lasts well for long sessions, although if you play a lot outside it can run out quickly. In short, a fun and flexible console, ideal for any gamer."

The system is excellent and I did return it as I have one already. What we thought we ordered was the Switch 2 for our son as we are still very happy with the original. Return was done through Amazon.
