Bought for a three year old to help 'welcome' her new baby brother - sharing the limelight's never easy - and she loved it, as did her parents and the rest of the family. The story is very well written and beautifully illustrated. I loved the choice of two foxes - gender neutral and a nice change from the more predictable bears or kittens etc - and how the moral of the story wasn't laboured but was just the right length for a small child to understand and appreciate. Highly recommended.

I have bought this book for my grandson who is due to get a baby brother any day now. He hasn’t seen it yet, but it such a beautiful book and story. I was telling a friend about it and she told me that she bought it for her daughter and it’s still her children’s favourite book. So much so that they asked me to read it to them as a bedtime story last time I was there. The story is lovely and the illustration is pretty. Something that could be kept for a long time to come
