Q: can I use diffuser scentrd oils in the unit?

Hi there,Our humidifier does not work with essential oils. Using essential oils on our humidifiers will damage the base and cause a water leak. We recommend you clean the humidifier if you’ve done that. Here is an instruction for cleaning:1. Fill the water tank with 2L of warm water and add two tablespoons of white vinegar. Shake the container and allow it to sit on the base for 20 minutes. The solution will move into the bottom and loosen the mineral buildup. 2. Empty the tank and rinse it with cold water. 3. Scrub the base with the small brush provided, then wipe it down with a soft cloth. Make sure to clean the transducer, as mineral buildup may cause damage to the unit. 4. Empty the base and rinse it with cold water. Be sure not to submerge the bottom in water as it will damage the hardware.If you have any furhter questions, please contact us again.
