Solid construction, nice colour, average price, well packaged and prompt delivery.

I have to start this review by explaining that I have an Open University degree ( with commendations) in bucket appreciation and the social effects of buckets and their uses in the modern world.I also have a collection, now about to go into four figures, of buckets of different sizes, colours, mostly made from plastic, but some made from recycled politicians.This latter group I have found to be the least useful, and I am now considering dropping them off at the local rubbish tip.But this bucket that I have recently purchased from Uncle Amazon is , how shall I put it, the dogs youknowwhats. Simply amazing!It is yellow, but not just any yellow, it's the yellow of Vincent's sunflowers and his yellow house, ie. sublime yellow.When I wake in the mornings ,and there is my lovely yellow bucket on the other pillow next to me, I know that life is, fundamentally, a good place to beand that all is well with the world ( apart from an endless ever-worsening load of really , really disturbingly bad stuff that could get to you, if you let it).The bucket is pretty awesome in its own right.I use it for bulk storage of tea, which I enjoy cold and often, and it is relatively easy to transfer from bucket to teacup, with the help of a steady pair of hands and a laid- back approach to multiple spillages.It's also great for the poitin made locally in my native misty glen, but we have had to resort to painting the buckets green so as to blend in with the landscape and avoid the watchful eye of you know who.Also it doubles as a very effective waterproof hat, only requiring the addition of some scrunched- up tissue paper between head and inner bucket, in order to achieve a snug fit.It is also extremely useful for storage.Basically you can put just about anything in it, your granny, your daffodils, etc., and you could ,of course,paint it a different colour, if you found yourself with an irrepressible urge to be creative, some free time on your hands, and some leftover paint.It is also a useful ally in my never- ending war against the pigeons that refuse to leave my back garden.Although I wish them no ill-will and would never want them to come to any harm, I find that the odd yellow plastic missile, strategically aimed to cause only mild alarm,is a useful reminder to them that their droppings are not well received at any time, for any reason.Anyhow , Uncle Amazon has so many of theseplastic delights that they are selling them.Buy early and buy often, bearing in mind that Christmas is inching nearer while we sleep and that there are many of your friends who will love you even more for buying them a yellow plastic cadeau at that most wonderful time of the year.Also to be considered as a possible wedding gift? Is that too much of a stretch, I ask myself. I sent for this as I didn't want a big bucket, they are too heavy for me and are not needed for the general wiping down paintwork etc. The quality looks good, sturdy. I can't say how durable it will be, but can only say it looks good.

I never imagined myself writing a review for a bucket, and yet here I am.I've owned a number of buckets over the years, but this one, for some reason, seems review worthy. It is a solid thing, with a sturdy handle, and a vibrant colour.Worthy of a review? Why not. Five out of five.

Got the colour (bright yellow) I wanted and it is very good value for money

I needed a simple bucket. This is exactly it and has done the job perfectly( I did worry once that I had ordered a big sandcastle bucket as it was yellow ,!! A big sandcastle bucket would not have been big enough ,) I love the yellow .
