Q: Does the app feature OCR?

Yes. You download the rocketbook app to your phone or device. You write in your rocketbook (with special paper) with a Frixion pen (came with mine). You designate the icons at the bottom of the page for wherever you want your document to go. For example: gmail. When you are finished writing your doc, you hold your device phone over the rocketbook page centering your device over the page. Rocketbook will scan, take picture and read the icon at the bottom of your page, and send the doc to gmail. When you go to your gmail, the doc will be there in two forms. pdf form (not ocr), and in ocr. Try to write as legibly as you can so that the characters are clear when they are translated. I downloaded the rocketbook ocr text with google docs . You can then edit and save your document. I tested my handwriting and printing and both are hard to read, but of course, since it is my handwriting, I can make necessary changes. I haven't used it too much yet so this is just the basics. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this have each page style then lined pages or do the 7 styles repeat? I would like the calendar, to-do list, etc., but I need mostly lined pages.

You should check out the video they posted on the last slide of the pictures above! It shows every page. I believe it said 18 dotted and 18 lined as well as 7 pre planned worh like the calendar and such.

I just received mine earlier this week. Beyond the first six pages, all of which are templated for tasks, ideas, schedule, etc, the rest are all blank pages. I am not certain whether that is a good thing at this point. I have to explore the uses more before a make judgement. I do wish I had more templates as all supplied so far can be found in different apps already on my cellphone which I carry everyday.

A good product

It is a good product. However, while rubbing with a cloth, few patches of black ink are left behind. Also, only one pen is provided with no beacons (for smartboard, you have to purchase separately. Although in the app, you have beacons available).Thats why 4 star from me. Others give a try.

Failty product recieved

Faulty product got delivered. Its been 30 days to follow up with amazon to return or refund but still no solution. I have spend ovwr 6000 rs. I am so disappointed that after spending too much and sidnt use a single day. Very pathetic service.. very poor
