DermMatch Hair Loss Concealer - Dark Brown

I use concealer in conjunction with Toppix and have been applying dermmatch for about 2 years. It gives a flawless result that I have confidence in. Yes, it will come off on your pillow cases overnight as some other reviewers have noted but comes out easily with laundering. Dark bedding is advantageous if you don't want to wash your hair every night before bed. Alternatively you can flip your light coloured pillow cases in the morning. Only you will know you've hidden it. Dermmatch is reasonably steadfast. Sweating and rain don't make it run, though I wouldn't trust it enough to go swimming with it on. I have visions of a trail of dark matter floating behind me in the pool! If you scratch your head you will get some under your nail. But you get used to the pros and cons. Overall, for me, the pros far outweigh the cons. It's very cost effective, lasting many months before it needs replacing. Oh, and one last thing: I've never found dermmatch irritating to my scalp and I have sensitive skin that is prone to contact dermatitis. I've always found it easy and comfortable to use. Very good product and would highly recommend it. I use it first and then top-up with Toppik. I used to use only Toppik but found that I was using too much powder and it looked a bit obvious; it was probably my mistake but I've now found that using both products together is much much better. You basically comb the power onto your hair. It's easy. You need to get your colours right. I bought med. brown but this was too light and got dark brown. At the price, you can take the risks.

Developed alopecia arreata for the first time this year and this has been great at covering my patches so I don't need to worry in public. I actually apply it wet and its very pigmented this way and only takes one or 2 swipes at the patches to cover them completely. Much easier than the brown eyeshadow I'd been using before.

Only used twice but looks alot better. Easy to use and with short hair. It still covers well and you don't need to use alot
