Fantastic carrier - sturdy, spacious, stylist and so much easier to use than the traditional “box” style. The lock feature on the front is excellent and provides reassurance and security. My cat is very nervous and this basket has made life easier. She has her blanket in there and seems to settle better. She is able to see out of the basket and I feel this really helps. Only negative is the flap at the back, I liked the feature as my cat usually has an accident in the carrier so I could get it out easily. No chance! My cat can fit through this flap so use with caution!

My cats can no longer escape their carrier by pushing their heads against a zip and appearing unannounced on a journey! It’s a solid carrier and top opening so easier to get my two in and out. It also has a small door so you can stroke them if they need (or more like want) a fuss. Good size for bigger cats too and seems strong with a good carrying handle that also appears well designed (like a supermarket basket) it’s probably as light as it could be for a good sized carrier. Easy to clean too.

What a brilliant basket this is! Both practical and effective! Easy top opening, surprisingly roomy inside even our big ginger cat can get in and out without any issues and very strong too. The handle is robust enough to carry a large cat. Very happy!

5 stars won't let me select! This is by far the best cat carrier. Handle works like a car seat, push the round bit on each side and the handle drops. Easy open and lock to keep them escaping. Flap at back is a nice touch to get your hand in to stroke them but too small for them to get out. Had a few compliments off vets. Can recommend.

I bought this as I lost the door from my old, conventional cat carrier. My cat is 7kg and this is a little on the snug side, particularly if you want to line it with a towel for comfort at the bottom, although I wouldn’t say it’s TOO small. Having the lid on the top makes it easier to cram an unwilling victim inside, but again for a cat of the size of mine (8yr old male shorthair) it’s possibly just on the small side when you’ve only got two hands and four paws and an open mouth full of sharp teeth to smush through the gap. Notwithstanding that, the quality is great, the build quality is top notch and it’s easy to carry and secure in the car. The lock adds security and the little hatch at the back makes it easier to throw in a few treats or even put through a few fingers to give the little angel a stroke if you don’t value your skin or enjoy blood loss.

I took a chance in using this carrier to collect my cat from a hospital stay. I added a towel that had been sprayed with Feliway, and a valerian pillow, but the carrier had no smell of home because it was straight from the box. I needn’t have worried because she curled up for the journey, favouring the end with the extra vents, and occasionally she came along for a little chin tickle before settling back down. She did cry a little to start with but, overall, she spent less time being upset on this 40 mile journey than on a typical 2 mile trip to the vet. The box felt sturdy and it didn’t swing while I carried it. The handle locks in but not as much as one might like if they had an energetic cat. My hands aren’t in great shape but I managed the latches without any problem. It contained no plasticky smell. It is narrower on the base where it is basket-like in nature, but that wasn’t a problem. I’d say she had more turning space than usual and that she had plenty of room, more than in her usual medium sized carrier. It looks a bit special too. I will keep it around the house and see if she wants to sleep in it while she is still too weak to climb onto my bed. I get the feeling that it is a cosy box where a cat would feel nicely cocooned. Thank you to the Amazon community for answering my question around whether it was too dark in there. It wasn’t.

Been looking for a top loading carrier for a while as it seems so much easier to get my recalcitrant cat in and out. Chose this on the strength of the largely positive reviews, and indeed, when it first arrived it looked great. Unfortunately, the first time I put the cat into the carrier I noticed that there was a crack in the lid. Never mind, I thought, it still looks sturdy enough overall. However, as soon as we put cat+carrier into the car she pushed against the lid and the supposedly locked clasp sprang open! On the way home, she pushed at the lid again, and it completely unhooked from the side of the carrier. When we got her out of the carrier, the locking clasp itself broke. Essentially after taking one small cat to the vet, the carrier had been rendered completely unusable. A massive disappointment all round, and I have no reason to believe that a replacement would be any better constructed.

I bought this for my cat as he has weekly trips to the vet. It offers plenty room so he can sit comfortably and turn. A big plus is that he can see me for comfort and reassurance through the top. There’s also a latch, at the back, that lets me pet him. It’s really sturdy and handled my 6KG boy with ease. The trade off is it is on the heavier side vs other carriers. Finally, it looks nice, so I also use it in the house for a cat bed (photo). Very happy to recommend to others.

Putting my cat in a transport basket used to be a source of huge stress. It’s way easier to put the cat in this one with the wide lid.

Je cherchais un panier de transport pour ma minette de 5,5 kg. Il fallait que ce panier ait une ouverture sur le dessus : c'est mieux qu'espéré, car le "couvercle" peut s'enlever totalement si on le veut. Je voulais également qu'il soit aéré et que ma minette puisse voir un peu au travers, et c'est le cas, comme on le voit sur la photo. L'article correspond également à mes exigences en matière de sécurité : c'est du solide ! Le verrou ferme parfaitement bien, et la hanse n'est pas sur le dessus, contrairement à mon ancien panier de transport, mais sur les côtés ; ainsi, aucun risque qu'elle lâche et que le panier s'ouvre (c'était toujours ma crainte avec mon ancien panier... mon chat étant assez lourd !) Facile à nettoyer ; visiblement confortable puisque ma minette va parfois y faire la sieste dans la journée. Bref, j'ai moins de scrupule et de crainte à la faire voyager avec moi.

Gerade bei sich sträubenden Katzen ist diese im Vergleich große Öffnung eine Erleichterung für Tier und Mensch - Während des Aufenthalts in der Box haben die Tiere ausreichend Platz und können sich auch aufrichten - Eine zweite kleine, verschließbare Klappe ermöglicht es, das Tier in der Box zu streicheln/füttern, ohne dass die Gefahr einer Flucht besteht - Der große Tragegriff ermöglicht ein Tragen in der Armbeuge, so dass man die Hände frei hat - Der ganze Korb ist aus Kunststoff und lässt sich daher einfach reinigen und auch mit einem Schlauch absprühen - Transport mit Anschnallgurt auf dem Beifahrersitz möglich - Edler Look, sowohl in grau/weiß als auch in beige/braun Bisher keine Nachteile zu nennen

Onze katten hebben nogal moeite met in carriers lopen. Van deze is de hele bovenkant makkelijk te verwijderen, zodat we ze er zo in kunnen zetten. We hebben nu 5 van deze carriers en ze zijn heel handig in te stapelen om op te bergen.
