Bebop to the Boolean Boogie: An Unconventional Guide to Electronics

Most understandable electronics book for the layman ever!
I ran into an article this author wrote on FPGAs, and even with no background in electronics, I was able to understand it. This was such a rare occurrence that I immediately went and ordered this book, since I have been faced with the task of learning to speak “microelectronics.” He takes a very difficult topic and makes it understandable. Plus it’s hilarious!

Excellent.
If you are interested or just want to or have to learn computer engineering, i highly recommend this book. It was delivered on time and in the condition it said on the amazon (new). The only recommendation i would have to improve this book is to make a copy with a hard cover, hard covers last longer and i am planning to keep this for more then a couple of years.4 out of 5 stars.great book and was precisely what i was looking for.

Good for a newbe
Had to buy this for a class, ended up not using it. Looks very well organized. Covered a lot of previously known material. Good for a newbe.

Good starting point
Very readable and won't put the reader to sleep. Still will have to do problem solving to ensure the mechanics are remembered but Bebop is a good starting point.

Excellent
Sad this isn't more lists of the classic electronics books like The Art of Electronics. This book covers a broad range of topics and features fantastic illustrations that help understand whats going on. After working as a SW engineer, getting back into circuit design, this has been a fantastic guide. Get this book for the bookshelf as you'll pick it up all the time.
